Who do you want to backup Romo?

Garcia will command big dollars after this run, so I think he's out of the question. Everybody else on the list really sucks. I think I'd rather have a rookie that has been in a pro-style college offense for 5 years over some clown like John Navarre.

Easy.

I rooted for that clown :)

Vinny is NOT an option even at 23 !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Romo has said he has learned the most from Vinny.

It could be a helluva lot worse than him.

Damon Huard would be ideal. Didn't he play in a similar system to Dallas for a few years with the Pats?

I imagine Denver will cut Plummer loose too.. or maybe just a restructuring.

He took his benching a little better than DB did.. although I imagine he'd like a chance to at least compete for the job somewhere.. wont get that in Denver.

Not sayin I want him.. just sayin I wouldnt be surprised if he ends up on that list.

Plummer is going to start for Jacksonville...that's the rumor...

Minor detail. :)

But the info still applies. I remember reading his name as someone who may be on the outs; just messed up on the team I guess.

That would be a super smart move on the Cowboys' part, picking up such a super smart player...

And what a fine bus driver he'll make, with his vast arsenal of 3 yard dump passes... :D

Can't think of any more, but man none of these guys are exciting.

Don't need to be exciting, just be a solid back up and perform when needed.

The way Romo finished, I'd bring in Schaub just to be safe.

Chris Simms is a free agent. But, he will proabably get starter money somewhere like Miami. I like the kid.

I actually think Touisosopo (whatever) is very similar to Romo in style of play. A little more mobile, but a guy who probably would be a good transition if Romo went down for a few weeks.

Garcia should get a shot at battling McNabb for the starting job. McNabb was going into the tank when he got hurt last season.

Statistically, McNabb was only having his 2nd best season ever up to the point when he was injured.

Look at his last three games of this season.

He was on a huge slide. He put all of those numbers up against teams like the Texans early on. Once again, he was saved by injury.
