Who do you want to be the starting quarterback?

Too bad for Texas that they faced Ohio St so early in the season. With the experience Colt has now they could probably give Ohio St a much better game.

Anything to bash/torment the Commanders. I should add something about Mrs Daniela Snyder in there somewhere... ;)

It is running about 10-1 (155-16) in favor of Romo. I wonder who the 16 are and why they want Bledsoe to start.

Well, you have to figure in the resident Bledsoe jock riders like Bledsoe96,ItoldyouSOE and Bledsoe=Beast, the other ones who voted for Deadslow are closeted Bledsoe jock riders.

I'm actually surprised DB got 22 votes so far. That isn't a dig at him.

Just figured I would post this since there have been several threads asking the same thing.
I voted for Romo, but if you had asked me even last week it would have been Bledsoe.

What Parcells said in the press conference today won me over for good. He stated rather clearly that the o-line always gets the blame for sacks and turnovers and that's not the case - read between the lines on the rest of what he said and it was a pretty clear indictment of Drew. He said that he's missing hot reads, holding the ball too long and not escaping the pressure.

In Bill I trust, decision made, let's see what Romo can do.

I definitely dont think we are drafting an LT next draft as much as Parcells was gushing over McQuistan. I am thinking interior lineman this year.

McQuistan = Rob Petitti 2

Had Bledsoe not got benched he'd still have my vote. But I never want to go backwards. We're moving on, get the caravan rolling. Thank you Drew Bledsoe for the efforts, good luck this off season.

i'm sorry but you gotta have something wrong with u if u want bledslow as the starter. Do u people want another wasted season like we did with Vinny 2 years ago?????? Romo is the clear answer even if he struggles on this next road trip which i dont think he will. i believe he will continue to get better every game especially considering he will now actually practice with the starters.

Romo......time to move on. Would love for Drew to hang around as a back up though.

I'm confused by this - in another thread, you state that you wish Romo would have started game 1. I guess I don't see your stance - you wish Romo would have started all along, but don't think Bledsoe should have been benched, but now that he has, think we move forward with it?

Do you see ability in Romo? I'm curious - I myself think he showed quite a bit Monday night, except for the INTs.

No Quincy or Chutch?!?!?

Not having Quincy as our starter is the reason we're in this mess. Chutch doesn't count cause he never had any success anywhere he's played.

Bledsoe - 12-10 over his last 22 starts (55%) 0 playoff appearances
Quincy - 12-7 over his last 19 starts (65%) 2 playoff appearances

I beg to differ......The reason we are in this mess is because we did not have QB on the bench and ready to take the helm when Aikman retired. I'm sorry drafting Quincy was not the answer it only augmented the mess.

If Romo does not fill the bill then we are still in a mess simply because we have not taken steps to shoreup the position for a decade now which is ridiculous.

That's too easy.

What I would find of interest would be what one's expectations would be, say he got to start the next 3 games.

I think we'll go 1-2, and Romo will have an even par on the TD/INT ratio. I won't guess on the yardage average, because who knows how Dallas will game plan him. I do feel he'll try and make friends with TO as much as possible, and Terry Glenn's numbers drop.

I won't be covering my eyes and peeking through like I did with Bledsoe dropping back and passing. I will relish in his unbridled enthusiasm and shoot from the hip style, and accept the consequences.

Most importantly, I think we'll see a guy who was, indeed, being groomed the last few seasons the right way in his case(being a FA from Divsion2(?) and see something that could be a possible solution.

Good post Jack.......Dadgum that hurt saying that.:D

Just kidding ole buddy.

If this were my message board, I would have this poll rigged to autoban anyone who voted for Bledsoe.

Seeing how it isn't, I'll just be amazed that as of right now 27 people support Bledsoe...STILL>

Again! i think that we are not going any place with Bledsoe, rather try with Romo and see if he's the future! if not, go for the best we can get in the draft! This was the way in dallas before Jerry got here! from meredith to morton to staubach to white and finally to aikman, all of them to the draft and almost all high draft choices!
