On the one hand, I'm glad that it's such a good match up to start the year... Sometimes these Thursday night games aren't very good or don't carry much interest for me (say if certain AFC teams).

But on the other hand, I strongly dislike both teams, and they're conference rivals of ours. So I really can't root for either team to win, either.

Who are you going for?

Saints

I want to see Brees light the Vikings up and Favre grinded into the turf.

Favre is my "CantStanDJa" person in life atm. :D

I would like the Vikings to get clubbed tonight. Favre pounded six feet into the ground and all the hopes and dreams of everything Vikings get choked to death in a very violent way.

...yeah. Thats what I want. :)

I want the Vikings to be good this year. I don't want the Packers walking through an easy division with homefield advantage in the playoffs.

our aim should be for the best record in the NFC(so we can play all our playoff games at home).go Vikings.

I don't like either team, but the Saints I suppose. The Vikings could be in line for a rough first half, so I'd like to see them take their lumps.

I agree with that -- and I'm also thinking at least the Lions may not be pushovers this year -- but what about the Saints having homefield?

From a Cowboys perspective, I almost want the Vikes to win because I think Favre will wear down by the end of the year anyway.

Personally, I can't stand Favre, but I've grown to really dislike Sean Payton as well.

Gunna go with the Saints here.

I dont mind the saints, they were always such a doormat, I was glad for them when they won it.

I just hope they dont turn into the next New England, I was happy for them too when they won it the first time. The tuck rule game, being a door mat to the AFC forever and all that. They were a nice cinderella story, then they turned into a monster I came to loathe, cant wait for them to sink back to mediocrity.

Stay humble Saints and go tonight.

I dont like either team, but have extreme hate for Favre and his coach, especially with how they handled our game in the closing minutes last year.

I hope the Vikes gets trampled and Favre throws 4 or 5 picks.

Saints for two reasons.

1. I have Brees on my fantasy team.

2. I hate Brett Favre.

Rooting for my favorite player All Day!! Hopefully no fumbles. Should be a good one even without Rice.

Saints.

I don't want to see the Vikings @ Minny in the playoffs again. I feel comfortable traveling anywhere else.

So boo to Minny all year.

I kind of like it when a Super Bowl team gets an early wake up call.

I'm going to root for the Vikings to win it, but my money is on the Saints.

Since the guy I'm going up against this week in my fantasy league has the Vikings defense, I'm pulling for the Saints offense.
