Essentially three NFC teams (Washington, GB, Det) are playing for the final two playoff spots. Washington wins and they are in as WC. That means GB and Detroit would be a winner-take-all for the last spot (and division title). If the Skins lose, both GB and Detroit are essentially in. Yeah there is a crazy scenario where TB could get in, but it will take a tie which I will assume won't happen.

I believe the following two teams would be the most favorable matchups for us (would rather play them):
- Seattle. They continue to struggle, showing inconsistency on offense and their defense can be had this year. I like our chances, and wouldn't be surprised if we can take them by a 2-3 scores.
- Detroit. They don't look like they can play with us. After their hot start, we sort of figured them out.

On the next level, I would put Washington and the Giants. High scoring teams like the Commanders concern me, but I like our chances at home. We will be fired up for the Giants, and I think we would completely shut down Eli again, so would just need a couple of TDs to win. We should be able to do it.

Finally, GB and ATL concern me the most. I see both of those QBs as being able to put up 30 points on us. And they will run a hurry-up, which we typically have a hard time with. This means we would need to win in a shootout. We can do it, but they make me nervous.

Anybody but another NFC East team.

I'm really not scared of anyone, but I'd love to avoid playing a team 3 times in one year.

If we play to our potential though, we can not only beat, we can dominate anybody.

In a perfect world, Detroit gets the 6 seed and then upsets the Packers in round 1. That gives us an "easy" divisional game and means we won't have to play GB.

I honestly want nothing to do with Aaron Rodgers or the ATL offense. We'll score against both of them but if it's a close game idk if I trust this defense to get a big stop late against either of them.

I'd really love a chance to pay The Giants back for 2007, when we swept them during the regular season and they pounded Romo out in the playoffs.

I'll never forget Osi and Tuck smirking as they hit Romo late play after play.

I don't really want to play GB. They get those playoff calls we don't. Plus, Rodgers is back to his old self.

I hope the Midgets get GB. I don't think they win that one.

Frankly, I wouldn't mind playing GB. We beat them once already. At their place.

Completely agree and a great observation.

Give me Eli all day but I want nothing to do with Rodgers or Atlanta's offense when we're in a shootout and they have the ball last.

Another concern is for whatever reason we just don't catch INT's. Scandrick and WIlcox both had INT's in their hands last night and couldn't catch the ball. We will be facing three top QB's on the way to winning a Super Bowl - there's just no margin for error.

While I don't bother looking ahead past the next game, I am keeping an eye on Detroit .. Yes I know we beat them, but be careful of facing a good team twice .. They did have their way in the 1st half and we need to be ready even more if we meet them again

I predict we are going to face them again .. let's be humble about last night .. not that i am scared but overconfidence might be a killer .. maintain the respect

Any of the possibilities can be dangerous. NYG's have already beaten us in close games twice, GB with Rodgers is always tough. Even though we basically had our way with the Lions last night other than our defense in the first half, they can be more dangerous than they showed. Even Washington plays us tough and has an explosive offense.

If I had to pick I'd go with Detroit but think it'd be closer than last night.
