Who doesn't have Oline issues?

The Qb or better yet the entire offense cannot function without solid play from the Offensive line.

when the Oline is not playing solid football you can toss the entire game plan out the window. Look at the Vikings game last year for a perfect example. You win and lose in the trenches.

He never said the Oline wasn't important.

He said the quarterback position is more important than the offensive line.

And there should be absolutely zero argument against that.

And as a further extension to this thought, not even a great QB like Peyton Manning can consistently get rid of the ball so quickly and so accurately so often that they could keep from getting sacked more than 11 times behind a weak O-line. The only way to do that would be to throw a lot of balls up for grabs and/or get a lot of grounding penalties.

Manning is not known for checking-down that often. He passes downfield and that under-rated line is keeping him upright. It`s the same thing with Brees.

If you do not have a great QB you better have a very good O line. OR a great D like the Ravens and Tampa Bay had. Both the Ravens and Tampa Bay had a good O line; not great but good. Both of them won with Great D and a QB that played it safe and did not make mistakes. And A O line that was good enough.

Manning's oline is regarded as the best in football. It's far from underrated.

ITs not that great. Their running game would be a lot better if it was great. Its been built to compliment Mannings game. So he can make it look better than it is. But it is very good.

There's nothing wrong with their running game except it doesn't exist. :laugh2:
