At Safety I see Houston, Philadelphia, and maybe JAX, that gives us the third or fourth best safety which is more than we could of hoped for in this talent laden draft. This means a safety that can play this year.

QB: Jets, Chiefs, Lions, 49ers, Rams(maybe) that means we can concentrate on the 4 or 5th QB available if we choose this route. Tebow?

DT:Colts, Dolphins, Bronco's, Chargers, Packers, Falcons, Panthers, yikes does not look too tasty on this menu for us.

OL: Steelers, Colts, Raiders, Lions, Vikings, Rams, Panthers, Eagles, not much meat left on this bone.

Do you guys agree Safety or QB gives us our best player? Then we roll the dice and hope for some slippage.

Why on the LB? I see RW being let go, and that is the premise for safety with the first pick? I see lots of free agents available to us at an economical rate and our ability to draft a quality linebacker diminished with our draft order. Ray Lewis, Johnatan Vilma, Mike Peterson, Karlos Dansby, and Bart Scott are some of the crop.. Safety free agents this year...Dawan Landry, Brian Dawkins, R.W. McQuarters we may have to fight another day at the LB position this year.

This is where our opinions differ I don't see RW being let go...I think Zach is going to opt out and Ellis is done...... Leaving us with James, Carp and Burnett in the inside and Spencer and Ware on the outside.....definitely need to add depth there.

I hope you are wrong on your scenario, it could happen, it still seems like we get a better player in FA than we could in the Draft. I am really ready for Tony to get some competition at QB, I think it would improve his play and make us stronger in the long run, just not sure how to justify it with the draft or FA list. I do know we are held hostage by Tony now and that is not a good scenario. I know you are a big Tony supported but this year has to give you some pause at how much he has regressed, I agree the line injuries can account for some of the slump he still made some idiotic tosses which made the games alot more difficult than they should of been. Peyton Manning won MVP behind a line with a lot less talent than we put together. I look forward to this draft, was last year a fluke we are not that far from putting it together. One problem I see is that the NFC east may be even stronger next year.

oops...didn't answer your question. I agree that Safety is a need we might address in the 2nd. However I think we wait until around the 4th for the QB. I think that S or OL is addressed in the second. YMMV

I see your point...I just don't know if the value is there for ILB in the 2nd. To further your arguement, it is even conceivable that Carp and KB aren't there as well. Burnett is a FA (I think we resign him) and Carp is simply not suited for a 3-4

Welcome to the Dark side, first we have to agree about who we let go this off season. Not brain surgery but lots of emotional ties to sever, I hope we are in agreement that the NFC east is going to get a lot better than it was this year. If you look around and you cannot tell who the patsy is than you are the patsy.

I think this is a joke. If Romo doesn't get injured his numbers would of mirrored last season and we would be in the playoffs that's neither here nor there however, I'm against adding a QB to challenge Romo we already gave him the deal to make him our franchise QB we just need to give him a solid back up.

I really don't want to see RW38 on this team anymore. Can't blame him for our problems this year cause he hardly played, but keith davis, and udfa, a guy who no one wanted besides Miami and then got cut, did a better job in pass coverege than Roy this year. This makes me think we can draft a safety who is better than roy vs the pass and run fairly easy.

You are right we probably do not need to challenge him, I think we need to evaluate what we got from him this last season and plan accordingly, if he goes down we have a hard time just getting a first down with the status quo. I felt a little disheartened to hear Tony after some of these games, I now have Tony with two personalities Touchdown Tony, and Turnover Tony. I can honestly say we have not seen Touchdown Tony for a couple of months worth of games, even the Giant contest with no turnovers(notice how we are just happy for no turnovers), Qb's can have multiple turnover free games and still be human. With the current crop of coaches we do not seem to be able to produce a game plan that Tony can compete with in the NFL. As of today, he is the third best QB(Commanders fans may disagree) in the NFC east are you happy with that? I want to win as much as you and do not care if his ego gets bruised, he is not getting it done, same with all of the other players not being productive. This team needs the whip, I hope Wade can crack it hard enough to get their attention. Drafting a good QB or adding one through FA makes a nice snap.

3rd best? He's definitley the best QB in the NFC east.....Funny how you talk about Romo not getting it done however Donovan hasn't won any superbowls. Eli was almost run out of NY before their miracle run last year and he got by on defense and a running game a couple of plays going his way....and the Pat's going for it on 4&13....However, this is Romo's 2nd full year as a starter in the NFL undrafted FA out of Eastern Illionios. Compared to Eli's Second year (#1 overrall pick and Dovanon's 2nd year) He's light years ahead of them you have unrelastic and unreasonable expectations. Did I think we were going to win the superbowl Hell yes. I think that every year hell we should of went 16-0 this past season we're just that good but that isn't the point. You really need to respect some more of the stuff that Romo does and appreciate him more. Winning in the NFL takes time just because we've assembeld the talent doesn't mean were going to win right off the back.....it's not the simple no matter how much we as fans think it should be. Oh and Romo had better numbers than Eli and McNabb......while missing 3 games......

I know the local boys are hard to get rid of because of emotional ties, you want a superbowl or you want 8-8. I do not give a dingle about stat numbers, he is not getting it done and looks lost out there, similar to when Wade gives a press conference about injuries. This team looks tamed like my ginger cat. Notice how well we did when Hamlin had his probowl season. Just my opinion, and for the record I wanted Mendenhall in the draft and wanted Jenkins before Felix so what do I know. Tony best QB in NFC well pass some of that eggnog my way. You must still be seeing the last year Tony at Greenbay. I still like him and I am glad we have him but I am not raising him up on throne, you earn that and a big contract means nothing only potential. God knows we have potential. You want them better and so do I we just see different ways to get this job done.
