Who else can plugg the gap? Because jaylon isn’t cutting it and Thomas can’t be consistent. I honestly Don’t know who else we have...besides practice squad guys. I feel like we are supper thin. At the same time Dallas just won’t address the problem along with the Safety position. We are stuck with Barry church’s and Jeff heath’s of the world.
 
Barry church’s and Jeff heath’s of the world are better options right now. This defense is not playing fundamental defense like setting the edge, playing the run in the gaps, over pursuing runners, CB's playing 10 yards off the ball, etc...

Isn't Thomas playing MLB?
 
At this point, just call some kids from some local high schools and try them out. Can’t get much worse than what we have, so what’s the harm in trying?
 
so it sounds like we are in agreement, try anything because it can't be any worse than the suppossed wunderkind.
 
You mean WLB. Thomas is ok at the MLB spot. I would try Bernard or Gifford. At least those two have instincts for the game.

He got payed, he solicited pro bowl votes after an embarrassing loss to the Bears and he loves to swipe during routine plays with zero awareness of how bad the defense is playing and no consideration to the fact we are down multiple scores. Jaylon is a self promoting over hyped nothing on a bad defense. He deserves every bit of criticism he receives from this fan base. As fans we are sick of players celebrating themselves while the team crashes and burns.
 
does the MLB the one with the mic helmet? i believe the biggest issue we have is we lost our QB of the defense ie LEE its not just play on the field although that typically great from LEE but we need leadership and the eyes and instinct to make adjustments and guide the LBs and DBS during the game in th huddle etc.. we lost our leadership and player on defense that could do the intangibles..

its like losing Fredrick on the Ol, sure his play was critical but his true leadership was him knowledge of the game ie making the line calls and being the anchor on the OL..it helped dak it helps Zeke etc

this was critical we need a VET LB that has an Aplus in being the QB of the defense.. Lee was that guy...

we are missing both right now add how Green KM is and how new the Staff and all the new players on defense all = a clusterF

i hope MM can have the meeting with all the staff and get some directions and calm this down..
 
Yet so many said get rid of Lee... LVE I wonder. Maybe was that guy before he got hurt.

I want the phone number of the Oklahoma state trooper that form tackled Baker Mayfield as he pitifully tried to avoid arrest for public intoxication back a few years ago. That guy had more fundamentals than anyone I’ve seen on the Cowboys lately. Did the full wrap up and decleat tackle.
