Who else is or has been most injury prone than Tyron?

Other than LVE I am drawing a blank.

I recall plenty of one-time injuries to me Cowboys throughout the years.
But Tyron takes the cake, lads.

Who else has been as fragile (an Italian word) in Cowboys history by?
Holla!

Like 2,137 other NFL players?

Don’t hate.

He’s an all time Cowboy great that has done everything we could have ever asked for.

Don’t try to minimize him for likes.

Reading this a second time, I’m just baffled.

Who the heck can hate on Tyron Smith?

He’s been a straight up soldier, never complains, reports to work every day and gives whatever he’s got.

Do better with your nonsense.

Me Queen! Name the 2,137 players. Or even 10.
Or are you again lying and playing with made up numbers?

Shame. Go play with the kids or by yourself.

It's an interesting question, Tyron always gets the tag because he has been around here forever it seems.
Like we drafted him at 19 years old or some strange time warp, just crazy how much hate TS gets for always just being a Cowboy for so very long.
Love you Tyron, what an all time great Cowboy you have been your entire career.

Demarco Murray.

2011: GFains over 700 yards in his first 7 starts and then get hurt and is lost for the season.

2012: Misses 6 games in teh middle of the season.

2013; Pro Bowl season, gains 1121 but misses two games due to injury.

2014: Finally plays a full season and breaks Cowboys single season rushing record.

I used to get frustrated with how often we were day-to-day on Deion's turf toe.

I say give these guys a break. If they can play, they play, and most likely are playing when they shouldn't which is why Deion no longer has a foot.

Don't blame the player, blame the GM. He already knows what he's signing if they're a veteran.

Some guys basically IR their entire rookie contracts. There was some S like that who was the archtype of "gonna be really good for us someday".

Tyron only failed to start one game his first 5 years.

Great player. But best ability is availability. When available and especially in his prime, he was an absolute beast. Its up to the individual opinion as to how to judge the gameday reliability factor against his performance level.

A couple other Cowboy sick bay commandos included the previously mentioned Sean Lee along with the infamous Miles Austin hamstrings as good gameday coinflip decisions.

Does it matter? He's one of the lowest paid starting LTs in the game and plays like one of the top 3, arguably #1, when he's available. Be happy when he's available and utilize a backup when he's not until you find someone that can possibly replace him (good luck) when he retires in a couple years.

Matt Johnson. Looked amazing in drills and practice but could never see the field. IR for 3 straight years (2012-2014) then retired.

Issues with hamstring and foot.

Current players?
As past players no longer on the roster really does not matter now.

Tyron the most, Kearse seem to had some minor type injuries but nothing that kept him out long term.

Ball, Waletzgo, LVE.
Maybe Hendershot.

From 2011-2019, Tyron missed no more than three games per season, and he missed one game total from 2011-2015, so I would not call him fragile. His body just started breaking down after nine seasons and that culminated after four years of playing 13 games each year in 2020 when he only played in two games. There are a huge amount of NFL players who don't even last nine seasons before their bodies break down. Their careers are done from the starter or after three or four years.

Let's take Dez Bryant, for instance. Would you call him fragile? Well, he played a total of nine seasons, missed the entire 2018 season with an injury, missed seven games in 2015 and three in 2016.

So Tyron missed 13 games his first nine years and Dez missed 31 (including four his first year and one his second), and that's not including playing in just six his final year in Baltimore, which was his ninth, when Tyron was still playing in 13.

Some of it is position since skill position players are more likely to get injured than linemen, but a lot of linemen don't make it nine seasons, either. Considering he's had neck and back issues, it's a wonder he's still gutting it out and playing.

..lol...exactly what I was going to say.

Worst part in hindsight about Sean.

He was so good on Defense. Dallas had no one to replace him.

Next few games they struggled deeply without him.
