I'm not going to throw any shade at Tyron. Yes, his body is breaking down during his 13th NFL season. But he guts through every game he physically can, and still blocks D linemen at a Hall of Fame level. And you can't even give him crap about his contract, which is one of the team friendliest of any NFL player in the past decade. Zero drama off field too.
Honestly, what is there to latch on to to hate Tyron? He's literally destroyed his body playing dominant football for the Cowboys, and you guys want to criticize him for that.
Tyron had chronic back/neck issues starting from 2017, and looked it, but by my eye, he has largely overcome those. He used to be moving like an old man with a bad back, but doesn't anymore.
I'm not sure that his body is broken anymore. Doesn't look that way from his movement on the field.
Romo's body broke down, and he seriously looked broken as he tried to run from Seattle in preseason when they *literally* broke his back. QBs can get away with being broken, and I thought they should have given Romo another chance, but he's an example of a broken player.
Tyron has not looked *broken* to me in years. He had some bad injuries that kept him out in the last 4 years, but that happens to players. I think the latest injury is another back one, and I'm worried that it rekindles chronic back issues, but I don't think that's a done deal yet.
The silly thing about this thread is treating Tyron like he's always had health issues. Missed one game his first 5 seasons. That's not a guy competing for Mr. Glass.
