I'm sad that this had to be my fist post...I'm a long time lurker.

I felt confident going into this game that Romo would mature, and finally lead this team to play a relatively mistake free game. When the kickoff went out of bounds....I just had that bad feeling we were in for a long game. I have never seen a team commit so many careless mistakes over the course of the year. The team was too worn down, mentallly weak, and not inspired enough to overcome a sloppy and undisciplined game. They have had to overcome stupid mistakes all year round, and needed to start off the game with some momentum. How many times has Folk done that this year????Uggggh

Romo did mature.

He only threw one INT this game (a December game).

I did but I didn't dare say anything at the time for fear of being accused of being too negative

Romo will never mature as long as Wade and Jerrah are in control.

Question, the team that kicks off decides which goal to defend correct? Normally then it would be natural to kick WITH the wind and make the other team go into right?

Why did we decide to kickoff into the wind?

Good question. You'd think we'd want to start off with an advantage since we not a come from behind team. Very questionable call.

If we kick into the wind the first quarter, we have to wind with us the 4th quarter. It's what Pitt did to us when we played them. I just happened it didn't matter because the game wasn't even close.

Because that means that in the 2nd and 4th quarter, we kick with the wind.

Meaning if we need a late field goal or whatever, we would kick it with the wind.

I knew it was over when the defense messed the bed against the Ravens last Saturday night. This team was a dead man walking- they looked scared to death. It was like Rocky vs. Clubber in the first fight.

I knew it last year...but then again I have Miss Cleo's home phone number so it's not really fair.

twas a bad omen indeed and PROOF that we need a new kicker or punter... either way we need a guy that can put the ball in the endzone on kickoffs.

I like Folk but he may have to go.

I thought it might be, but then I saw us in position to go up 7-3, with a beautiful penalty-free, well-executed drive of Choice runs and short passes.

Then the first down pass that Roy dropped, a completion to Crayton for 9 yards, then we didn't run on 3rd-and-1 from their 15, and we had to settle for a FG.

That's when I got a sick feeling in my stomach.

That's our OC. Never called for a coach to be fired until today. Jerry needs a new coaching staff.

He just gave them another vote of confidence.
