Who gets the final 2 WR spots?

Cowboys will likely carry 6, no way they carry 7. Holden won't make the 53.
Locks: CeeDee, Pickens, Turp
Preface - Tolbert should be shopped by the FO to recoup some draft capital or they can hold on to him for 2026 Pickens insurance.

Only 3 spots available:
Tolbert
Mingo
Flournoy
Campbell
Brooks
Cropper
Holden, Kelly
You have to know Tolbert and Mingo are basically locks, so that leaves 1 spot. Now, if the last WR is active he has to play STs primarily. Brooks n Flournoy have played STs, I don't see a vet like Campbell turning into a STs demon. As of right now the last spot is a 2 man race imho.
Prediction: CeeDee, Pickens, Tolbert, Mingo, Turp, and Flournoy. PS - Brooks, Holden/Kelly.

I think Mingo is going to be a surprise contributor this year.
  1. He is a very good blocking wr which helps the run game.
  2. He was open quite a bit last year and endured skipped and sailed passes from Rush.
In my opinion, it will be Lamb, Pickens, and Mingo by the third game, with Turpin in his gadget role.

How can anybody see Mingo in front of Tolbert? Tolbert has seven touchdowns last season and 610 yards. Mingo has 585 yards and zero touchdowns together in three seasons. He has done nothing in this league so far. In my opinion Mingo is a cut candidate at the end of training camp.
Yeah, you absolutely nailed it here and for the reasons you mention.
BUT General Manager Jerry gave up a 4th for him.
And Head Coach Jerry will see to snaps/playing time as Coach Jerry sees fit after training camp.

Same way he gave Zeke snaps that he didn't deserve over Rico last year at the start of the year.

I'm speculating here but it does not seem too farfetched given the history of this GM/HC.

Competition has just been sparked upward, not so much for WR1 & WR2, but for WR3 and down. I see three guys that can take that position so training camp will be interesting. Dak can't through enough balls to give this many WRs a fair showing of their talents, so chemistry with QB Milton will become important for the depth chart at WR to develop.

Crazy to think an undrafted WR is a lock to make a roster before he has even shown anything in practice/preseason. I dont care who on the coaching staff is vouching for him.
