I had high hopes for many of the young guys. Which guy has been your biggest disappointment so far in camp?

For me I was hoping Cox would solidify himself as a LB. But he has continued to be hurt and unimpressive thus far.
Zoners.

Josh Ball
Where are they: Jabril Cox and Vasher.
Based on 1, one, uno, singular preseason game: Wright, Joseph & QB Rush
Performance & Injury: WR Washington didn't look good before the injury.

Cox and Joseph for me. Was really hoping they stole a couple guys but that doesn't appear to be the case so far.

DiNucci & Steele. Why is DiNucci still on this roster?!
They released him & hired him back. The guy just won't go away!

Vasher seemed to have started out well the 1st week or so. But I have not seen or heard much about him since.

Does not mean he is doing poorly, just I have not seen much about him lately.
Honestly, what we’ve seen of Vasher in TC is what I saw of him when he was at Tech. (I’m a Tech fan and saw every game he played at Tech) Vasher is a guy very capable of making the big circus catch but is not as reliable in ordinary situations.

He’s never been a great route runner, has very little speed, is not a great blocker, and has had drop problems. Could he make the team? Maybe. But he doesn’t have any ST skills which really hurts his ability to hold a backup roster spot.

Some people are saying Ridgeway, but I don’t know what people expect from a 5th round rookie, 1-Tech DT. If he was NFL ready he would have gone earlier in the draft.

For me, it’s Garibay. How someone can go from a nearly perfect college kicking career to that awful in camp is beyond me.

I guess it’s just the mental pressure of being an NFL kicker. Not everyone is cut out for it. But damn, I had my hopes up that kicker had been solved.

The front office for me has been my biggest disappointment.

They know they issues on the oline. They have the cap space to fix it and didn't do squat. They are lazy and incompetent billionaires who won't lift a finger for us to get to the next level. While teams like the Eagles are solid on both sides.

I point the finger at Stephen and Jerry especially. They deserve an F for the work they've done this year.

He hasnt been healthy enough. No doubt its one reason why Barr was brought in here.
Which hope is not a consistent issue. I want this guy to be out there as he has the ability to be another huge part of the defense.

I think it’s the unrealistic expectations people put on players who’ve never played a down in the nfl: Ridgeway was drafted for year 3-4, not to be great day 1. Most rookies taken past pick 20 aren’t expected to do a lot their rookie years, and it’s unfair to demand otherwise.

Ridgeway may grow into a reliable starter for Dallas…. By 2025. Like DLaw. Like Gregory. Like Cedric Wilson. The reason Micah’s year was so well regarded was because of how unlikely that is to happen to a rookie.

I was going to say Ball. I had high hopes that he would compete with Steele for RT and at the very least solidly the swing tackle spot and he has been terrible. So I’ll pick another guy and this will not be popular. CeeDee Lamb. He’s been good but we need him to be UNSTOPPABLE. Like uncoverable good. We need teams to roll coverages to Lamb to free up everybody else and if they don’t, then Lamb needs to eat them up. Not sure I’ve seen that yet.

Do y’all even watch and listen to all the content coming out of camp. He’s been almost what you described as wanting.
