Dallas also play the Texans, Philly plays the Jaguars. 3 games difference.
As I posted above, what are those teams records difference between 1st and 2nd place for each of those teams.

Do you mean the Rams, not the Chargers?
yes, I was looking at Giants schedule by mistake.

Everyone has an opinion as to how easy or difficult a schedule is. The degree of difficulty of a schedule is all based on how teams performed the previous season. Teams change from year to year so what may look like an easy or difficult schedule in July could drastically change by the time we get to October and November. Some teams end up being better than last year and you might have a few teams that end up being worse. A team could get off to a struggling start this season then all of a sudden by the time we play them, they’ve righted the ship and are on a roll making them a more difficult opponent. Last season Philly was much better when we first played them than later in the season when they were struggling.

The Fecals have the more difficult schedule. They have to play the Cowboys twice.

Strength of schedule is an overrated measure. Things can change so much team to team that previous year's performance is not a great indicator of future performance.
For real. I don't know why people put so much stock into this.

Who cares? It doesn’t matter, you can’t predict how good a team will be each season

I don’t think there’s confusion I think the OP is just asking who has the harder schedule.
Welp, I haven't looked at Philly's schedule.

I'm focused on the Cowboys, and only the Cowboys.

Let the Eagles fans worry about Philly. That's MY advice to all Dal fans who are as loyal to the team as you and I are

Then this thread isn’t for you he’s specifically asking a Eagles/Cowboys related question lol.

Yeah but I've assumed control of the thread for the betterment of all the cowboy fans.....and re-asked the question a better way.

That said....this was abfew days ago, and I don't remember the question.

Why would Dallas be 10 when Philly is 18 and NY and Washington are 20-21?

They play identical schedules minus a few games.
Those few games matter. Getting a 1st place schedule means you play against other division winners whereas a 2nd place schedule puts you against the runner ups. Shockingly in most cases teams that finished in 1st place tend to be better than teams in 2nd place.

....I dont see why Dallas is #18. Should be around #10 or #11.

Well the nfc east teams are all in the same range. It isnt just dallas.
The afc teams are considered to be the strong teams right now, and the afc has won the SB the last 2 years .
The better qb's are mostly in the afc now.

what you say is true, but this is in general terms.
Teams that were bad last year will still probably be bad, and same for the good teams.
There are the exceptions each year though.

This SOS deal is probably base on wins and losses from last season and whether you play a team at home or on road, and also
how good were your div opponents last year in wins and losses.

It is just in general , it wont be totally accurate.

Also dallas had 2 very weak teams, so those team will not be considered to be hard games by anyone right now.
NYG and Wash, if fans here predicted those 4 games right now most will have dallas winning all 4.
Some might say a split with wash.
One thing that has helped dallas be 12-5 is winning those 4 games each year.Wash did win one in 22?

Teams change from year to year. You don't know an opponents strengths until the games are played.
