Jenkins is playing with much more confidence.

Romo is smarter and is tucking the ball better when he runs.

I think Spencers close to getting it.

To me, it's Jenkins and Austin, two of 5 guys I said that were key players this year when a question such as this was asked at the beginning of the season. I think Spencer and Sensabaugh were two others. I can't remember the 5th. Maybe it was Jones...

Anyway, I don't see two other players who have improved more than these two this year.

Jenkins and Austin for sure.

Spencer is still JAG Anthony, getting stone walled in pass rushing situations and watching that fatass Jacobs waddle down the sideline.

Jenkins and Spencer. Everyone else is the same or regressed sum..

Austin, Ratliff, and Romo have regressed or are the same?

Yes. All those to me are the same. You can make an argument about Austin but to me it's just that he's finally getting the reps. We always knew he had it...

Yet we've got a better record year to-date. If the players have mostly regressed, do you suppose it's the coaching or the play calling that's responsible for the improvement?

Agree with Romo, Austin, Jenkins and Spencer.

Roy Williams has been better than last year...though that's not saying a ton.

Where did I say they mostly regressed?

That's not how I remember it. Before the season began, most considered Austin a potentially promising receiver who, up to that point, had proven nothing.

Nope I said Same or Regressed not, "Mostly Regressed." Learn to read idgit...

Oh, Jesus. Whatever hairs you want to split. I'm not interested in parsing gibberish. You're talking nonsense, and you know it.

Most or many? To me the board has always swung towards Austin. The majority have always said, "If Austin can only stay healthy..."

No sir you are twisting my words or you just can't read. To me the majority of the team is about the same while some have regressed just to make it a little more clear for you since you wanna read into what you think I'm trying to convey.

It just seemed like, at the time, most posters here were not convinced about Austin. Sure, we all liked him, and we all thought he had potential, but I don't think there were that many who "knew," for sure, that he had "it." We hoped he had it.

If you say that you always knew, I don't doubt you. I just think you were in a small minority.

Even the players on the team are saying, "It's just been a matter of time," and, "They knew he would eventually break out because he works so hard."

How can a guy really breakout unless he gets significant play time? Like right now many are down on Bennett but he gets limited reps behind an all pro named Witten. Baptism by fire brings maturity...
