Be interesting to see a poll.

Who has more by seasons end?

Dez Bryant receptions, or Sean Lee tackles?

Sean Lee, he'll play on special teams and some nickel back.

Bryant is not going to see as much time as people think this year on offense, rookie receivers rarely do. He'll be mostly on kick off and punt teams

smart money is on lee, we have been healthy at the linebacker spot, seems due for an injury though i hope not

A lot of Lee votes. Not suprising, because I think it'll be Dez, and I have a habit of being wrong about things.

But I'm not sure if Lee gets more than, say, 35 tackles on the year. Whereas I see Dez getting around 45-55 receptions.

Lee - 55 tackles
Dez - 45 catches

Those aren't exact, but I figure it'll be close to there, and I think Lee beats Dez by about 10.

You think Dez is going to have less than 3 catches per game?

There is only one ball to go around, if Dez is not starting I dont see how he is going to get more than 50 catches

I think that Bryant will get more opportunities than Lee will.

Bryant is likely to start the season as the #3 WR so he will see a good number of passes thrown his way.

Lee isn't likely to start this year so I don't see him getting many opportunities until next season.

Lee at best will be the nickel LB. He won't make a lot of tackles there. He'll have to get them on STs and he'll never get that many there either.

Dez should handily beat Lee.

I do. I don't think he'll get his 10th catch until the 5th or 6th game. I think he finishes the season with <40 if we keep Crayton, 45 if we cut him loose.

Thanks for the recap.
there was not much to recap

he said all of the right things with a truck load of "um" as filler.

Considering that when Miles was the #3 last year in the beginning he did. Also, going into the season, Romo has to develop chemistry with Dez. He has more chemistry with RW11 than he does with Dez at this point.

AND as an example Larry Fitzgerald, who is arguably the best WR in football, had 58 catches his rookie year and he started all 16 games. Dez won't start until after mid-season if he starts at all this year barring injury. So 45 isn't out of wack.

Dez as the #3 WR will get more opportunities than Sean Lee as a backup LB and special teams starter.
