Who has the best CB tandom?

If the boys get Adam Jones it will be

Cowboys-Jones/Newman

Packers-Woodson/Harris

Raiders-Asomougha/Hall

Chargers-Cromartie/Jammer

I'm sure I'm missing some but from what is out there and on the list who would have the best CB in the NFL?

Jones will very likely start out in the slot, with Henry and Newman on the outside if they're both healthy. Honestly, though, I would put Henry and Newman second on that list behind Cromartie/Jammer. The Raiders' duo looks good on paper, but so do a lot of things in Oakland that don't turn out to be anything to worry about.

I would have put the pair from the Broncos but other than Champ I don't know the guy playing opposite from him

I think the third corner is almost a starter these days.. add the third corner and then judge..

for just the pair that's a tough call.. I wouldn't consider Hall, Jammer, Jones or Harris shutdown corners. I've seen Hall and Harris beaten pretty consistantly and I know Jammer has improved lately after a slow start.. Jones.. well he hasn't played in a year so that's kind of an unknown.

Dre Bly, but he had a bad year last year. I heard rumors he might be on his way out, did that actually happen and I missed it?

i really thought the broncos would have had the best tandem....but man, Dre Bly gets abused way to much...and is over rated.....

i think with Phillips scheme we have the chance to have the best tandem....Cromartie and Jammer is a nice combo..but jammer is not all that...

If we get pac man, we should draft and plan like he's not even on the team which is a distinct possibility. Any talk of us being the best duo or trio is premature even if we trade for him. He has to show it on the field and not get suspended.

He's got a point...

I'd say the Raiders probably have the best combo right now, inspite of what a lot of people on here think of D.Hall. Right now they've got two, young, corners. One is big and physical, and other quick and capable of making plays on the ball as well as giving them a good returner.

THe Broncos have a good pair, they suffered from a lack of ability to stop the run more than anything else. If you can't stop the run, doesn't matter who you have at CB.
