I was on ESPN and they were talking about Nicks maybe transitioning to the NFL faster than most recievers because of the offense Davis ran at NC. They want him to start but the have Nixon and Smith "projected" as the starters right now. This is what a Giants fan posted about the starting receivers (plus a few more things):

Domenik Hixon only has 83 CAREER receptions, Steve Smith has 65 CAREER receptions!!!! And who doesn't think Nicks can become a viable receiver. He has great hands which should help out Eli's accuracy deficiency problems. Now do I think he's going to win rookie of the year.... No probably not. The leading WR for the giants last year was Steve Smith with only 57 receptions, and Hixon with 596 yards. Not to impressive. The giants Don't pass that much, there a running team. A matter of fact the lead the nfl in rushing. But Nicks can come in his rookie year and help the giants win.

Now I have seen where the "experts" have picked them to have the best WR's in the NFC East. Looking at those stats I'm not so sure. What do you guys and gals think?

I think this is one of those arguments that really can't be settled right now.

So much of it depends on which unproven player steps up.
