For me, I've done a 180 on Jeremiah Attaochu. Probably as late as a week ago I didn't think he was a fit. I think the games I watched of him were last year at OLB and mentally never got past that. Saw an athlete but not a lot of skill. Watching more of him playing at DE as a Sr, he really gets of the line fast...right up there with Mack and Barr. Not just a run-around guy. Also great Pro Day.

I'd take him over Demarcus Lawrence or Kony Ealy every time at this point. I think he's probably a better RDE candidate than Crichton too. Crichton seems better suited for the strong side. Possibly a late RD1 consideration.

Not me. I covet him. I think he's the best rush DE option, outside of Clowney and Barr in this draft. Maybe better then Barr.

I would say Shazier. Thought he was to light and I'm not a fan of Ohio State players. But it will be interesting to see if the rumors are true and how high he goes.

Did you have an opinion on him prior to the 2013 season? Reading up on him, seems like I wasn't alone in my indifference. Some stuff pulled from Rotoworld…

Before the college 2013 season:
Georgia Tech senior OLB Jeremiah Attaochu was given a late round grade by NFL scouts, according to draft insider Tony Pauline.

Jeremiah is "underrated but no wow factor...playing DE in 2013 will hurt his stock," Pauline tweeted. We think Attaochu is a solid athlete, but he lacks awareness in the open field and wastes too many steps. He could be a breakout candidate as a pass rusher, however.

After the college 2013 season:
Georgia Tech edge player Jeremiah Attaochu "jumped out" in a film study conducted by ESPN.com's Kevin Weidl.

"He has very good snap anticipation and flashes an explosive first step," Weidl wrote. "In addition, Attaochu has exceptional torso flexibility to bend the edge and can generate power through his hips to finish at the top of his rush. He also has an effective inside-changeup move in his arsenal. Attaochu changes directions quickly back inside and flashes explosive acceleration coming out of his redirect to get home and generate pressure." The report is also glowing with regards to Attaochu's work ethic, character and intelligence. "Attaochu, along with Boise State DE/OLB Demarcus Lawrence, who also has quality tape, could be viable options in the early-to-mid second round for teams like the Jets, Cardinals or Chargers, who all are looking to upgrade their edge pass rush," Weidl wrote.

Guess he broke out. More recent news seems to indicate he won't make it past the Commanders at 34. Todd McShay's been very consistent on him -- most underrated player at any position.

Same. He looked very thin-legged to me and maybe 220 to 225. Was really surprised to him able to add and handle so much weight/muscle. He says he believes he can carry around 10 more lbs and max out between 245 and 250.

Barr- was against him in the 1st rd even in a trade back now he's my #1 choice

Ward- everyone piled on when I said he was overrated, after doing some research I'd love him in the 2nd rd

CBS sports has him listed as an OLB (3-4?) and he only weighs 252 lbs on a 6'3" frame. I guess he can put on 25+ to play DE but will that compromise his speed? I dunno I'd rather get somebody already playing the prototypical battle weight to play end...
