It generally takes a lot to get me riled up, or if my button is pushed, I usually let go for the moment. I prefer to exact my revenge carefully, methodically.

Had to jump in -- man, that statement is so very true.
Nailed my thinking to a tee.:D
Found out at a early age I go from happy go lucky to killing mode.
I also realized I didn,t like wallowing in the dirt getting my Good clothes torn up . Or skinning knees and elbows on the pavement.
Was it Cash that had the song " I'm THE WINNER." ?

I learned that being mad is a waste of time and energy. That the only person feeling my anger really, was me.
The earlier in life people learn that the better off they will be.

This is true. I think I've gone through SOME of the same things Hos has. Not exactly, but similar. And I can see why he got mad. I get livid... but it's futile.

My sister's husband has a horrible temper. About 4 years ago he literally tried to pick a fist fight with me. I am not trying to brag here, this is roughly like a yapping poodle going after a rottweiler. He isn't 5'6" and he's way out of shape. My sister could whip him and she isn't 5'5".

So he charged at me and I pushed him in the chest with both hands about like I used to hit blocking sleds in drills. He flew across the kitchen, wiped out the table and 3 chairs.

He then called the Police on me. One cop was talking to me, one to him. Cop asked me who started the fight I said, "he did." He asked who my sister was going to agree with and I said, "Me, she isn't going to lie for him or me."

I was right, she told exactly the truth. So the cop asked him why he lunged at me and he said, "I've got a really bad temper."

The cop put a hand on his shoulder and said, "Does it have to disengage your brain? I'm wearing a gun and I wouldn't want to fight that guy."

He took himself to the VA hospital and for several days he winced every time he tried to sit down. My sister had no sympathy. Every time he did she said, "You can't fix stupid."

Many years ago, I was him. I let my rage control everything and I reveled in the fact that because I am a big guy people were afraid of me. I wasted a lot of my life living that way, thinking that way, and acting that way. It took the death of my son to change me. What a horrible way to learn about what is really important in life.

I have a point...it takes a lot to get me there...but once I'm there, i have absolutely NO CONTROL over my emotions.

Back in May, a buddy and myself went down to San Antonio. We got into an argument. He said the WRONG THING to me, and I went CRAZY. I beat the **** out of him. His eyes were black, both lips busted, and his ear was even messed up. That's the only fight I've been in 15yrs.

I get more angry when people mess with my friends/loved ones. Two weeks ago, a guy got all mad because my girl got in front of him on the highway. She didn't even cut him off, well above 20ft in front of him. He cuts her off, and only misses her vehicle by an inch. Then, he slammed on the brakes in front of her, almost causing a wreck. I was HEATED. I said "follow that ************!!!" We start following him..I'm hanging out the window motioning for him to pull over. I was ready to FIGHT. At this point, I was completely UNAWARE of any consequences (gun, police, etc), i just wanted to **** THAT GUY UP. He got all scared, and took off. We followed him to his house, but I wasn't prepared to do anything at his house. I would be asking for a shooting at that point.

The moral of the story? Don't **** with my peeps!

You'd think after In-N-Out messed up your order so many times you would have beat the whole store up.

I get really pissed when I see people mistreating others, especially when men mistreat women. The only fight I've ever been in in my life was after a couple buddies and I saw a guy shove and curse out one of our female friends in a bar for absolutely no reason. We took the guy out in the parking lot and beat his arse. A couple cops broke it up after a few minutes, but luckily they had seen what he had been doing beforehand (acting like an arse to many people that night apparently) and told him that he was lucky all he got was a good beating. They got off duty shorty thereafter and we spent the rest of the night drinking with them.

It would be a great injustice if Hos has never gone to Halloween as the Hulk :laugh2:

Ironically I get pissed at the stupid small stuff, like say breaking a glass or stubbing my toe and I'll cuss like a sailor, I guess because it feels preventable.

Total my car and I just laugh it off

As far as fighting goes, haven't been in a fight since I was 18 or 19, pointless waste of time and you never know who you're up against. Some guy that may not look that tough might be an MMA fighter that could rip you to shreds or some nutcase that can't fight worth a flip but carries a gun and doesn't have the sense not to use it.

Even if you happen to be the toughest guy in the world, there'll eventually be someone tougher, again pointless machismo garbage
