Who is Cowboys 1 receiver?

#1 WRs sell jerseys, they do not win games.

With an elite running game and a 1st or 2nd round WR added we will be fine.

This wouldn't even be an issue if we had a TE who could run. Love Witt, but he can't run.

Witten, and he will average 1/2 yard short of a 1st down.

Yes I know he is a TE, not a WR. But he still catches the ball and is part of the passing game.

Having a #1 receiver is so overrated. Having a solid group of 4-5 receivers without a “star” WR can still be very effective.

Look at Seattle’s 2013 team that won the SB- #1 receiver? Doug Baldwin. Eaglets team last year- #1 is I guess Alshon Jeffrey. Pats #1 WR the last few years (excluding injury season) has been 5’9” Julian Edelman.

Sure having a Julio Jones or Antonio Brown would be great. But there aren’t that many stud receivers out there. Remember when the Lions had the best receiver in pro football for nearly a decade with Calvin “Megatron” Johnson? They never won a single playoff game with him.

Having a well rounded deep WR corps can be very effective. I wouldn’t mind having a star WR of course. But the hand wringing about possibly not having one is overblown. Besides- let’s be honest. Performance wise, we haven’t had a true #1 receiver since 2014.

yep the preseason super star against guy who was on the bubble. The Legend of Rico.... only problem right now is finding a helmet that will fit over his giant knot on his head.

Without the Legion of Doom defense that offense would have never seen a Super Bowl.

Re-build the O-line into a #1 unit, keep Zeke playing for 16 games, protect the young QB and return to 2016 football. Remember the first 6 games without Dez in 2016? Yeah, yeah I know opposing coaches hadn't figured it out. Guess what, they had lots of time to figure it out over 16 games. Would a 90's offense be so bad? I mean opposing coaches had years to figure out that we were going to dominate on the O-line and run 22. A dominant O-line and the best RB in football leading an offense around a QB who rarely threw for more than 250 yards in a game but was accurate. Sound a little familiar? Improve your accuracy Dak. Strengthen the O-line and get back to work with the best RB in football. It's the same damned game that it was in the 90's with a little more protection for the WR's and QB thanks to rule changes. Heck, even Barry Switzer couldn't **** that up
