Coaches didn't drop the passes or make the PI that prevented the win.

Seems like 1-2 plays 6 of the 7 games. Amazing that 6 of 7 could have gone wither way...sickening really.
Then again, when you're not executing the little things sometimes it does reflect on coaches.

But to answer the OP, I don't see any heads rolling.
Most realize that with Romo, this team is 7-2 or 8-1 right now....in spite of the crappy, archaic offense that we run.

Wasted season.

Wilcox is a backup that was in a starting position. Hell, even Church has reached his ceiling. Either he's hurt or just terribl. Crawford and Lawrence looked better today. The defense gave up 3 points for 59 minutes. I go back to he offseason, Jerry and Stephen screwed this thing up.

7-2 or 8-1 is what fans want to think.....This team has not played a solid game all year with ROMO or without ROMO.....the only 2 wins were UGLY and LUCKY.....This team is bad, and Bad coached.....Yes Romo makes these coaches and other players look like good, but to believe a 2-7 team could be 7-2 or 8-1 is a pipe dream....you think the other team is just not gonna show up.....reality sucks.....look at the Dallas Cowboys record the last 10yrs, it tells you last year was an anomaly. But hey you can want in one hand and hope in the other and it sill gets you to 2-7

After holding out, I now fear Garrett has lost the team. I think there is a chance he gets fired unless we win 5 or 6 of the remaining gems.

Garrett wasn't fired after three 8-8 seasons. No way is he fired now. Injury to Romo gives him at least another year. I at least hope we dump Rod and Linehan, but ultimately it doesn't matter if Garrett is still the coach. This will still be his offense.

I thought Linehad has doing everything possible. He is dealing with bag of misfits.

You saying it wouldn't be is the same as me saying it would be. Worse ...imo.
We don't know.
But if you think Romo can't make a FG or TD difference--which is all would take to win 6 of those games--then you're the one way off here. To me, it's almost a certainty.
The run game, blocking and even pass rush (which still sucks) are all better now than they were.
Yes they would have lost 1-2 games...maybe even another one. But they'd be in good shape right now...imo.

The reality is no one gets fired. Jerry is loyal to JG or he would have fired him years ago.
Romo and Dez getting injured will be enough justification for Jerry and Stephen to keep their friend JG.

I want to give JG the benefit of the doubt since my gut tells me we are stuck with him for a long time. But my brain tells me that any coach that loses 7 straight with this much talent doesn't have what it takes to ever lead a team to the Super Bowl.

But nothing will happen.

JG is rather embarrassing. Tampa Bay!!!....Never seen such ineptitude continue to be accepted. 12-4 appears to be an anomaly. If the Skins paste 40 on this team with Kirk Cousins and Jay Gruden.....and he's clapping after a FG....that we'll do for me. Refs don't respect him....nobody does. He's looking like a HS coach in the NFL.

What difference does it make? None!!!

If a building collapses, it doesn't matter how many of the construction crew gets fired before they build another if you keep the same architect.

And it's a life sentence of terrible buildings if the owner of those buildings decide he should be the architect despite zero training and zero experience.

We Cowboy fans have all been given a life sentence of what we have seen the past 20 years. Apparently, its never over until that one particular life is over. Its not mean or vicious to say this because if an incompetent GM can't be fired then there is no other possible alrernative.

If this team finishes the final 7 games at 5-2 or better, no one will be fired. All will be blamed on losing our franchise QB and a few bad plays here and there.

Soooo....if you want a different offense or play caller (replace Linehan) or a more aggressive defense with in game adjustments (replace Marinelli), then you should hope to see the team struggle to 3-4 or worse with Romo. Then, I believe you would definitely see changes.

However, I seriously doubt that Garrett is in danger unless he totally loses the locker room down the stretch.
