This never gets old, I could watch this for hours.Nervous? Who me? Nervous?
Nervous, no, but I'm interested in seeing how the the team responds to a high octane offense.
I prefer the "Never strike a Cowardly blow" phrasehttps://www.sun-sentinel.com/news/fl-xpm-1991-11-25-9102180711-story.html
- One of Jimmy Johnson's Best Quotes:
"If you got a big old gorilla there, don't just go up and tap him on the shoulder," Johnson said. "I think it was Teddy Roosevelt who said, 'Don't ever hit lightly.' Whether it's in a battle, a war, a fight -- if you're going to hit, hit with all you've got."
LET'S GO COWBOYS!!!
I'm just feeling the need for a pulse check. Perhaps something to set me straight...
I legitimately woke up this morning feeling some type o way. Let me attempt to explain... It was a strange mix of confidence, swagger, and serenity. I had my usually large cup of java and went to work with the expressed plan to avoid the site and give myself a change to calm the heck down...
Well... It's not working!
I'm feeling strangely confident that we are going to open a large tasty can of whoop *** tomorrow night. That tasty can will be complete with all of he nutrients necessary to digest what we are about to shove down their throats.
And I tripping? Be real with me. Keep me on the level here. I'm a ticking time bomb!
"Hey bud. C'mere a minute. Who ya takin'? Uh uh. The Cowboys are a card table. Too much weight and their legs will fold." - loosely based on the genius Sheldon Leonard bit w Jack Benny. This post is very true for me too.
The crap Dez non-catch call broke my emotional attachment to this league. I still watch some games to pass the time (if I don't have anything better to do), but I am no longer emotionally invested in this team.
I partially agree. Difference between now and 2014 was that the Cowboys were trending up and building momentum that year; and that Seahawk game established them as a legit contender.
But the feeling this year is completely different. I'd hope nobody really has faith that this team can compete for anything. And even if we beat the Saints, I'm not sure changes much, at least in my eyes. Our training wheel QB keeps my enthusiasm in check.

LMAO..same here. This never gets old, I could watch this for hours.
I am NOT nervous. Four weeks ago, I expected nothing from this team.
The last 3 weeks have raised my expectations a lot (thank you Cooper, Colombo and Houck). But, I’m not expecting a win.
I am, however, interested again. Enough so, that I polished the TV screen this morning.
No wouldn't want Suh, Peters, Brockers or Talib. Starter for starter I would only take DonaldNot a single player over any of ours....
Uh, ok
Not Brokers or Suh or Talib or even Peters (over our worst corner) or Fowler or....etc
Over ANY of our players?
I realize its not apples and apples with the 3-4 vs 4-3,
and Im not even saying their overall D is better.
But come on
I had tee shirt with that on it,I USED TO WEAR TO SCHOOL
