seems like a waste of time to me,i would rather watch it at home where i have more info on what is going on and we might not even draft in the first this year.

I was there. Just saw this, lol. It was a lot of fun. I actually knew of the Byron Jones pick while the Panthers were on the clock.

I went for a little while. Did you find a spot where you could hear them broadcast about the draft? All I saw was some dancing girls on stage and a few bottom of the roster players.

No. It kind of sucked in that regard. I typically like to sit at home with my laptop/iPad/phone command station with the draft on NFLN and ESPN on PIP. I had fun while I was there for a bit but I'd rather be at home next time. It would've been more fun with a friend and streaming radio in my ear. I didn't plan very well, lol.

I also thought it was going to be inside like last year's. Kinda disappointed they didn't have a section open to sit in the seats and watch the broadcast on the big screen.

Yes, once I figured out it was not inside, I was not really interested. I kept asking people if there was another area where they were broadcasting the draft and they all shrugged the shoulders. Most people appeared to be there just to see players or some nonsense like that. We were going from Fort to Dallas anyway so it was convenient to stop by.

It was outside in the party pass area?

Yeah in the Miller Lite area. If you don't really care about the draft minutia and just want to drink $9 Miller Lite and hang out, it was cool. But for a draft geek like myself it was kind of underwhelming. The biggest player there was Anthony Hitchens, and he drew a big cheer from the crowd. They also had a bunch of guys who must be on the practice squad.

You were not impressed to see Cam Lawrence and Jeff Heath?

The question should have been, Who wants to go watch Rowdy jump up and down when the Cowboys make their pick.

It was cool to shake their hands. They're nice guys. But the flyer said Sean Lee, Dan Bailey, and T-Will. Unless I missed them early on, it was underwhelming.

Yeah dude, that was just...lol. I was like I'm glad this was free. I walked in and they were like "ITS TIME FOR MORE ROWDY" and I was like...LOL.

Some of the security people told me they were doing autographs inside, but it was restricted and you had to have some type of ticket to get in.

That's even worse. Good players but not security/ticket worthy. It's not like they had Romo, Witten, and Dez inside.

It was probably for season ticket holders or suite owners. I'm not really interesting in autographs, but would would think that if people brought their kids to a draft party that they might be rewarded with some decent autograph opportunities.

I saw a disabled kid with a seat back from the stadium with a ton of signatures on it. Made me feel good.
