Who is MVP as of now?

Situation matters. And all the people who think Dak has been a top QB for his career should realize he's had a great supporting cast much of his career.

I'm not saying Dak isn't playing well, he is. But you look at some of the teams he's had around him during his career and realize he's had it pretty easy. If he was playing for the Jets or Giants he'd be out of the league and much poorer. And the worst part is Dak doesn't seem to realize it.
His great supporting cast fails him in the playoffs time and time again.

You have no way of knowing how he'd look on the Giants and Jets. I don't take your hypothesis seriously.

Fun conversation here - but really, the MVP picture won't round into real form until November or so. In the meantime, this Dakiness will continue I'm sure.

To me it's probably Dak.

What he is doing with the worst defense in the NFL. No CeeDee Lamb. A rookie HC. Rookie on the Oline then major injuries. Jalen Tolbert and Ryan Flournoy playing meaningful minutes.

Much higher QBR than Baker.
#1 in EPA
#2 in Yards

I think it's Dak but it's WAAYYYYYYY too early for this conversation.
Allen is worse off at receiver. The buffalo defense sucks. He has a really good RB but teams having to focus on Allen, throwing and running helps that.

I'll say it again, Dak does look real good. We'll see if he continues or if he turns into a pumpkin like he always has.

Why are Dakbots putting on the full court press to hype Dak as MVP so early in the season?
Could it be that there is a real possibility that Jerry will drop him after this season if he chokes again?
Then that huge contract and it's "guarantees" might take a huge hit, as Dak might not be on the roster long enough to lock them in.
There's money behind all of this hype, that much is certain.
Shilling is a full time job on social media.

Never Dak's fault with some people. And I don't think hypothesis means what you think it does.

I didn't quit. I know lots of Cowboys fans who didn't care anymore when Cooper Rush was QB because they had no hope. I was watching. There's nothing to come on this board to talk about. It's Cooper Rush. Who wants to talk Cooper Rush?

How's your fantasies of obtaining a Mahomes or Brady going? Is Dak gonna be gone this year? I always look to you for your seer-like predictions.
We had no chance last year when Dak was playing. But that wasn't Dak's fault. Once Rush got in though it was because of Rush we had no chance.

Especially since he hides all of his posting history.

I recall after the giants game I noticed the first 2 post I saw from mountaineer were critical posts about Dak so I paid close attention to see if he posted on other aspects of the game/players. It was very clear if it wasn't something derogatory about Dak (who played a good game) he had nothing else to say.

I know he nor his team have lived up to their past standards thus far so I completely understand why he's not being considered at this point. But, it's hard to do more for your team than Patrick did on that last drive for the Chiefs Monday night.

That was getting it done every which way. Just what the best player in the league does.
He's not MVP this year either. You don't get MVP for career achievements.

So the only valid Dak threads are the ones where people band together and bash him?

There's a lot of Dak threads...it's the norm here. I post a lot of non Dak stuff too. And what's wrong with talking about a Top 5 QB currently in MVP contention?
Top 5 so far this year? Top 5 for his career? Top 5 historically? Because the more you zoom out the less true it gets.
