Romo, Ware, Lee, Coakley?

I have to say Tony Romo. Ware is great, and a probable HoF'er, but at this point, we don't go any where without Romo.

That is why it is important to take OL in the first.

Excuse me while I duck for cover.

Ware. Though I thought Lee was outplaying him early in the year last year, honestly.

inside joke that im missing? :D

Ware best player hands down. Romo most important player hands down. Ware will get into HOF based on body of work, Romo gonna need help to do same.

Best player to help us to win games = Romo. Best player at their position = Ware

At this stage in their careers, I'd rank our top 6:
Ware...steady
Romo...still slightly rising
Lee...rising fast
Witten...still very good but sliding some
Smith...rising fast
Carr...???

Ware is our best player but gets doubled all the time which is sad. When you watch the games you can tell he is beyond frustrated too.

Lee is quickly becoming a very important player too. Last year he was a beast....

Ware or Witten

would've put Romo in there if it weren't for the Lions game last seaon

I agree with you. Ware or Witten.

It is tough comparison because QB is such an important position due to the way the game is played. Still I choose Ware. Every team in the NFL would want Ware on their team and he would be their immediate starter. The same doesn't hold true for Romo although a lot of teams would want him, too.

So if Witten has a bad game or Ware get's shutout, that doesn't count? But if Romo has a bad 1/2 game he get demoted?
Ok

I am glad someone mentioned Tyron Smith. I think Ware is our best player but I think Tyron (if he improves at all this season) becomes our best player at our most important position.

Thanks :)

I'm don't with the "most" important position comment, but I agree that he could be our best player very soon.

Ouch.....

The best player is Ware and it's not even close. He's the only Dallas player who is undisputedly the best at his position in the NFL. He's climbing the charts as the best player to ever play that position.

That said, the most important is Romo.

The correct answer is DeMarcus Ware.

Ware is the best player talent wise, but without Romo we are a sub .500 team so our best player talent wise is not neccessarily our most important player.

If I had to pick either Romo or Ware to be out the season, I would go with Romo playing over Ware.

That's all well and good but the question was who is the BEST football player on our team. Not the most important, but the best. There is only one correct answer, DeMarcus Ware. He is the only player on our team who is the unquestioned best at his position in the NFL.
