I don't think we can go into the season with Crayton. Newman is to valuable to put back there. Any FA's out there.

we are gonna use Tyson Tompson because BP likes RB's as return men over WR/CB as they have more bulk . . . just my 2 cents and probably BP's as well.

It should be Terrence Newman. Everytime he did it last year, he was always just 1 block away from taking it all the way. Looks JUST like Deion returning punts.

I don't see what the problem with Crayton is, I thought he did well.

I guy nobody knows much about was really getting some positive news last season by the coaches and Jerry was WR Jamaica Rector. I think he is a sleeper type that could make a move this next season, not unlike Crayton last season.

I agree. Was thinking the same thing myself. Jones mentioned Rector at least twice during radio/tv interviews. Apparently Rector has such good hands that they also using him at CB in addition to WR during practices last year. Will see how he does in TC this year in either position. He's 5-9/10, 186#; weighs same as Aaron Glenn. Rector's little shorter & lighter than (5-11, 195#).

I like running back Maurice Drew out of UCLA, the guy is electric when he touches the football, and he's fast AND quick!

I'd love to see us get Jeremy Bloom as the #4 receiver and punt returner...the guy is fearless.

I think Dallas may try to draft a #4 receiver somewhere in the middle of this draft who can develop and help on special teams.

I am interesed to see Jamaica Rector in training camp and preseason though.

the guy hasn't played ball in 2 or 3 years...wow does that sound really really recent with a qb we have?

He could be a punt returner, but he is nowhere near developed enough to be a #4 WR. Any team that takes him might as well give up him playing WR for them for a while.

Agreed. If Rector is the guy, it will be because Copper proved that he could be #4. That's certainly possible.

Ahmad Merritt is another guy who has been kind of forgotten. He was likely going to make the team, until he got hurt last preseason. He also has ties to Todd Haley.

I think he meant Jeremy Bloom, since he said that "any team takes him", and clicked on the wrong post.
