We all know Bledsoe has one, two years left, tops.

Who is our QB of the future going to be, I cant stand old, leftovers anymore.

I want a QB that will be here for 7-8 years straight, not a new one every other year.

I vote for Brady Quinn this year. Hopefully he will fall to us.

Brady Quinn has indicated he's going back for his Sr. year. If he changes his mind and comes out he will not fall to us. I'd love it, but it won't happen.

He's a junior I think and if he comes back and has the same type of year he will win the Heisman no matter what anybody else does. No way he comes out.

Vince Young.

After David Lee gets finished with his footwork, he'll be walking arse backwards permanently.

I think if you really want to do this right for a change then you see the QB you want and you trade up to acquire him. In my opinion, QB is still the most important position on your team and you don't take chances by designating a 2nd round pick or a late first round pick as your starter. You have to think top 10 and trade accordingly. I know it's a sacrafice and a risk but we need to stop thinking bargain basement and get a legitimate franchise QB, and those are usually found in the top 10.

It won't happen this year. That's for sure. We'll have to wait till next year but I'd be willing to break the bank on Quinn(probably becuase I'm an ND homer).

Isn't vince young staying? Outside of Leinart, Young, and Quinn, i really have no idea about who are considered the top prospects. I hear some scouts are liking Brodie Croyle, but Bama's offense is terrible. One guy i sorta like is DJ Shockley. Ive seen him play a few times on TV this year down here in SEC country. He has one HELL of an arm. Can run across the field and flick it 60 yards down the field right on target. I think he's leading the SEC in TD passes and pass efficiency. Not heard a lot of noise on him NFL-wise, but he certainly seems to have the arm and the smarts.

I'd kill for Quinn next year.

Jay Cutler is the best draft eligible QB, followed by Quinn. Cutler won't be taken over Leinart but he'll be a much, much better professional.

Phillip Rivers is going to be a stud. I wish we could get him

I would dress up as a Cowboys cheerleader for every game next season if we drafted a QB high next draft. It won't happen while Parcells is here.

We don't have a QB of the future because the Cowboys have refused to make the investment to get one. We've tried to do it cheaply. Henson isn't getting much of a chance.

Shockley? Are you serious? He is like a copy of Carter, play the same and everything(not saying hes on drugs, he seems like a good guy). Hes not accurate, and isn't even all that much of a playmaker with his feet, sure he can make plays but he isn't worth anything more than a 3rd-4th round pick at most!

Have you seen him play this year? He's been lights out in the games i saw. Quick check of stats on espn.com says 21 td passes to 5 ints with 2300 yards in 10 games (missed two to injury) Based on what the announcers were talking about last night, UGA recievers have had problems with drops all year round, so that would account for his completion percentage being 55%. I like the kids arm and smarts, though.

I'll guarantee you he is a 2nd round pick by the time the combine is over. He sure came up big last night against the #3 team in the nation and against #10 auburn (another one of his games i saw)

Yeah, id rather have leinert, quinn, or young and maybe olson but we arent going to have a shot at any of those guys. And looking up Cutler (who some have mentioned), Shockley bests him in passer efficiency by 20 points.

You really can't compare college QBs by passer ratings or stats. With so many different offensive systems and vary levels of support talent results get skewed.
