Beasley seems to be burying himself with his latest rumored contract desires.

Obviously we will have to replace him as a WR.

I will miss him.

But whatever.

But punt returns needs new blood now.

I was growing weary anyway of him fair catching everything or letting it roll into the endzone.

Wasted opportunities.

Who do we have who will inherit his ST jobs?

And don't we need some pop on the KO returns, too?

I mean why is it we never have anybody who can do something there.?

With 6-8 PRs a game..

and 5-6 KO returns a game..

That's like 15 offensive plays a game where we do nothing.

Solutions?

Andy Isabella: 5'9", 190 lbs, 4.30 40 yd dash. Can play both slot WR and K/P returns.

I wish, I don’t see him lasting to our pick and honestly I don’t see WR as something we’d address with our top pick, given the recent DL news and earls contract demnads.

Hopefully either Austin or some super duper draft pick....

Tavon Austion 1-year, 3M

When Austin is injured, Cedrick Wilson will return punts.

Good question.

It's basically because we don't draft well. We make the mistake of taking a player for a certain thing, and then ignoring it. We generally don't have a backup plan if that player doesn't work out, and players often do not work out.

My guess would be a draft pick will be returning them.
