Who is the 2nd RB this week if Zeke can’t go?

I’ve been clamoring for weeks now how important is was to get some reps for Malik Davis, as he looked really strong in the PS. Dowdle is third on the depth chart supposedly but isn’t he hurt? We can’t expect Pollard to be in on every play here.

Anyone heard anything? And who do you want to see with TP?
Rico Dowdle was placed on IR (10/17).

Malik Davis was active for the past 2 games and played a high percentage of Special Teams snaps but zero on offense.

Malik Davis has one more free call up, then that's it for him. Dowdle, on IR, can not come back until after the bye. Zeke has been elevated to probable. So more than likely they will just reverse the roles of Pollard and Zeke. Pollard will start and Zeke will be on spot duty.
The rookie LB Harper was just placed on IR. I think that opens a spot...

i wonder if quadre ollison gets put on game day roster from p squad.
That has been my question as well, been watching for activation.
Would like to have a backfield of
Pollard
Davis
Ollison
Until Zeke returns.
We are at least going to see what we have with Davis Sunday.

They have like five open spots. They've been playing light so they can use those protected call ups from the practice squad. But Lewis, Farniok, and Harper have gone to IR here recently. If they activate LB Clark, OL Alarcon, and RB Ollison this week, all three will be protected. One of the other open spots will go to our long snapper. It'll be interesting to see what they do at RB this week, because Davis won't be protected if activated against the Bears.

I was trying to understand this and have read a little about it, so Davis is exposed now because this is his 3rd activation?

A player can be activated three times. Two in a row, skip a week, then they can be activated again. But three in a row...he will not be protected if activated this week, because they would make three in a row.

So Davis is unprotected if he were to be deactivated, only protected while remaining on the 53 at his point going forward?
Am I correct on this?

If he stays on the 53 he's good. But if they cut him to put him back on the practice squad, someone could pick him up. So yes, you are correct.

I'm concerned about our pass-blocking in the backfield. Sure hope Malik can protect Dak on passing downs.

The player with the 2nd most carries will probably end up being Dak.

Pollard will probably get 15 carries, Dak 3 and maybe 1 or 2 for CeeDee or Turpin. Davis will probably get 2 maybe 3.

Kellen Moore can't help himself. he'll abandon the run for all practical purposes and pass 40 times.

He’s on the 53 now. Ollison will get the call up

Dowdle is on IR!
He made my point at least relevant lol!!!

Interesting question . Would rather see 3 RB’s then 4 TE’s like Lions game . Make it a 3/3 split among the positions . See what you have in these other Backs . I would imagine Pollard is good for 15-17 touches still leaves maybe 10 left on the dinner table .

Notice the Eagles feed you a steady diet of the feature back early then as the game progresses Gainwell and Boston Scott pick up And look fresh . Your can incorporate three backs .

When asked if Pollard could handle something like 20 carries or more, he replied "If they call it, I'll haul it." Malik Davis and Quadre Ollison, 6-1, 232 will also be available at RB. It's not like depth should be problematical.
