As a Ranger, or who has been a Ranger? Nolan Ryan, Ferguson Jenkins, if you include managers, there is Ted Williams, Toby Harrah, Buddy Bell, Pudge.

You've A-Rod, but he and Juan Gonzalez I black list for steroids. Rafael Palmeiro would be on the list too who at one time happen to be my all-time favorite Ranger until I heard that he was using steroids. So, I suppose I black list him as well.

The best Rangers to me are Rafael Palmeriro, Juan Gonzalez, Nolan, and A Rod. I would go with Nolan, what he did to Robin Ventura gives him the edge. If Josh resigns with the Rangers this could be a very interesting question in a few years.

The most famous has to be Nolan Ryan. But he really wasn't a Ranger all that long. He is one of the most famous players in baseball regardless of team. But he certainly was not the player wit the best Ranger career.

Pudge Rodriquez was the player that was elite for the longest period of time and therefore had the best career as a Ranger.

10 straight All-Star appearances as a Ranger and the truly dominant player at his position. Maybe the best all-around catcher in baseball for the entire decade
