Who is the best slot receiver in the NFL?

Hate the team but Jamison Crowder will be among if not the best by the end of the season.

For now, Edelman.

Beasley is definitely top 5.

I agree Crowder is becoming a force to deal with on that receiving team. Luckily we have four good DB's that can negate that factor.

I'd say Jarvis Landry but Beasley is right up there and way underrated by most people.

Cobb does not look the same as he did a couple of years ago. Back then he was impossible to cover at times and was almost an automatic 1st down when Rodgers needed one.

I remember back in his first pre-season when people wanted to cut him for Andre Holmes.. A former Cowboy homer on this site endorsed Holmes and his cronies went with Andre Holmes > Beasley.

I just set back and had a laugh at them.

Not sure where Beasley would rank but it would be pretty high. He's been our best, most reliable receiver this season. He's gotten better every year and is only 146 yards off his career high. He's having a career year with a rookie QB.

Even with Brady, so far Edelman hasn't been playing at his peak level. His yards per reception are down and he's kinda got the dropsies. Could just be a hiccup for him though.

I think the true answer depends on the intent of the original question: Is that reagarding their body of work in the NFL up to now or is it just for this season? If it's this season, it would be hard to pick anyone but Beasley.
