Lots to choose from and I won't even name any except my choice. I'm a fan of a lot of them, but IMO the funniest comedian today is Andy Samberg.

What about you?

There are several good ones out there... it's mostly preference to types of humor...

The funniest guy out there that works clean is Brian Regan...

There are so many to name. With a lot of different styles. I admire George Lopez as he came from nothing and his family never believed in him.

Henry Cho is really funny (and clean).

And I agree with bbgun in liking Gaffigan. We caught a comedy show in NYC a few years ago and he happened to be there. Lucky for us - the other 15 or so were TERRIBLE (bad taste AND not funny).

Nobody gives Hot Rod any love, everyone just raves about Superbad, which wasn't one tenth as funny as Hot Rod.

I dont have a new comedian that I like more than any others right now.

But I still cant get enough of George Carlin, dave chappell, steven wright..etc.. I used to love mtv's half our comedy hour. that is where chappell and jon stewart got there start.

Jim gaffigan is funny though.

I was going to break out george carlins "guys named Todd" bit for the skins game, but its not allowed on this forum...but if anyone needs a laugh do a search on youtube for that.

oh an I forgot to add lewis black.

Mitch Hedburg was hilarious, but he died waaay too young.

Some people don't like the raunchy racial humor, but i still think Dave Chappell is hilarious.

The comics at those Comedy Central roasts are pretty good too. Ditto Chris Rock.

Dave Chappelle or Katt Williams. Eddie Murphy is the best of all time IMO though, Delirious was the funniest stand up I have ever seen.

I liked superbad too, but I agree Hot Rod blew it out of the water.

Jeff Dunham and his puppets make me laugh. Especially the old man puppet.

I really like Carlos Mencia but I know a lot of people don't. Yeah, I've heard the reasons.

Rodney Carrington absolutely has me in tears at times.

I like the Blue Collar guys. Again, I know many people don't.

To me Lewis Black is brilliant. So is Dennis Miller. So is George Carlin.

I still think for pure comedy Bill Cosby is the greatest ever.

I fought off watching the Blue Collar guys because "You might be a redneck" and "Git R Done" drove me up the wall. I accidentally stumbled upon "You can't fix stupid" and have been a Ron White fan since.

Ron White still makes me laugh harder than any other comedian

As far as total laughs, cheap or not, Chris Rock is probably the funniest out there there IMO. It doesnt even matter what he says, just the way he goes about saying it is funny most of the time.
