It could be Houston because Von may have taken his job.MY bet would be Hooker.
I think Houston is tradeable but I really don't want to see it happen. I like him as a spot rusher.

Its seemes like they are leaning towards Locke being more of a reserve/role player. He has always played better when given a smaller diet of snaps. It looks like Thompson and Hooker are going to be the primary S's when downs is at NCB. Running downs, where we are in a base 3-4, Downs will probably be at a more traditional SS positionUnless they start Thompson/Locke.
They asked for the surprise, let go, and I said this would surprise mePeople are acting like Mingo is better than Brown just because he's made a few catches and barely stopped someone from returning a fumble all the way back instead of just 50 yards. Yeah, he had the long td catch from Milton but he beat a backup on a nine route. Let's not forget this guy couldn't do jack except block for a year and a half since he's been here.
Here’s my question,Yeah, I really don't think it matters. Neither is a game changer.
My mistake if you thought that was directed at you — I meant to just piggyback off your comment. They asked for the surprise, let go, and I said this would surprise me
Honestly, I wasn’t sure, and I don’t know what I would do with either oneMy mistake if you thought that was directed at you — I meant to just piggyback off your comment.
And I appreciate you saying that. I just feel like there's enough senseless crap between posters here without a simple misunderstanding between myself and someone else.Honestly, I wasn’t sure, and I don’t know what I would do with either one
But I like you Manning up and saying that
Not many people have that quality around here
Happens all the time if said player is not a good STer.Here’s my question,
What team is going to let go of a player that may be better than any of our second stringers backups
It might even be somebody’s third string player that might be better than one of our backups
It’s gonna be very interesting watching the NFL release and sign players
That's silly. They're not cutting Gary/EZ/Law/VOnGary
EZ
Lawrence
Von
Houston

I’m hoping that somebody’s, offensive line, third string that they want to keep but they just can’t find room for him, like I said, they’ll be a lot of moving around partsHappens all the time if said player is not a good STer.
Liufau. I’m a fan of his since Notre Dame, but he very well may be a casualty. That's silly. They're not cutting Gary/EZ/Law/VOn
He plays very hard, but at the end of the day he's just not that valuable.Liufau. I’m a fan of his since Notre Dame, but he very well may be a casualty.
You didnt hear about the 3 lineman / 8 DB formation we've been using in closed practices? That's silly. They're not cutting Gary/EZ/Law/VOn
That would be a surpriseTurpin
I don't think this is the case at all. They have showcased him the 1st 2 games, and he's drawing the attention of everybody. If he sees no snaps tonight, perhaps you are right as they would try to hide him from being snagged. If he plays, and plays lots there is no reason to think he will then be cut...I fear it's Brown
I don’t know if it’s a surprise but Sam Williams…
Very possible. It has been said Mingo contributes more in special teams. I hope if we can't carry him we at least get a trade for him.
