MY bet would be Hooker.

I think Houston is tradeable but I really don't want to see it happen. I like him as a spot rusher.

It could be Houston because Von may have taken his job.

Its seemes like they are leaning towards Locke being more of a reserve/role player. He has always played better when given a smaller diet of snaps. It looks like Thompson and Hooker are going to be the primary S's when downs is at NCB. Running downs, where we are in a base 3-4, Downs will probably be at a more traditional SS position

People are acting like Mingo is better than Brown just because he's made a few catches and barely stopped someone from returning a fumble all the way back instead of just 50 yards. Yeah, he had the long td catch from Milton but he beat a backup on a nine route. Let's not forget this guy couldn't do jack except block for a year and a half since he's been here.

Williams and maybe Carson and Hooker would be my surprise cuts.

I think Blue and Brown definitely make the team. I think Brown gives them more at WR than Mingo does. Blue has done nothing to lose his spot, and none of the other backs besides Davis have outperformed him. They won’t be giving up on Blue this soon, not a chance.

I’m hoping that somebody’s, offensive line, third string that they want to keep but they just can’t find room for him, like I said, they’ll be a lot of moving around parts

I don't think this is the case at all. They have showcased him the 1st 2 games, and he's drawing the attention of everybody. If he sees no snaps tonight, perhaps you are right as they would try to hide him from being snagged. If he plays, and plays lots there is no reason to think he will then be cut...

Very possible. It has been said Mingo contributes more in special teams. I hope if we can't carry him we at least get a trade for him.

Agreed. I think we should try to trade the loser of the two. Either way, I think we can get a 6 or 7, and the pick can be used for a potential rental on a player if needed, which, in turn, could be a higher comp pick.
