Who is your WR target for the first round? And if you don't want us to go WR in the first round, for this exercise, pretend that you do.

(I still can't create polls?)

If I’m pretending I want to take a receiver in the 1st, I’m trading down to the end of the round and taking D.J. Moore. Sutton’s traits are interesting, but Moore has the best tape of the class, IMO. Great route runner, great hands, great frame, a beast after the catch, plays with a chip on his shoulder, and is three years younger than Ridley. Our receivers struggle with creating separation and finished near the bottom of the league in YAC, so Moore would help us the most at Z.

Calvin Ridley,Bama is the only WR I feel good about taking in Rd 1.

lotta guys I like in Rd 2 area
Christian Kirk,A&M...maybe late 1
James Washington,Ok St
DJ Moore,Maryland
Courtland Sutton,Smu

from a Cowboys perspective...at 19...the only WR Id want is Ridley.

There's a lot of good receivers in this draft, I hesitate to suggest drafting the best one there in the 2nd round.

D.J. Moore is my best so far. He's under 5'10" and it's impressive the way he fights to overcome his lack of size with physical running and catching. I'm just concerned he goes to the combine and runs slower than 4.50. He might not be the best complement.

Michael Gallup has been blowing up lately. Not truly elite in any one area, but does a lot of things well enough.

If you want speed, Christian Kirk is the guy. He was a slot receiver at Texas A&M though, so he's a projection to move outside.

Calvin Ridley is the consensus WR #1, but I'm not that big on him. I agree his skillset makes him perfect for our Z, but the 190 pound playing weight really shows up on tape.

I haven't finished Courtland Sutton or Deon Cain yet, but they've impressed so far.

Calvin Ridley and it's not even close. Best route runner going into the draft and can create separation with his speed as well.

People are knocking him because he had a RB throwing him the ball for the past 2 seasons at Bama. Will not be there at 19 so I would choose to look at Defense with the #19 pick of the NFL draft.

None, Anthony Miller is my favorite WR but 19 is too rich. He's got some Antonio Brown in his game

Ridley is the only WR that will be drafted in Round 1.

I wouldn’t mind Sutton or Washington late 1st rd if we trade down because our other targets are gone by 19.

M concern with him is his weight and his age, but yea, he's the best of he group.

Not totally on target but Bob Sturm has been studying WR over the past week or so and from his tweets he really likes these guys. I think his best case is you get a guy at 50 though. Although yesterday, he was indicating you may want to use some draft capital to move up to 40 to get a Miller from Memphis or one of the other guys you target.

I'd be looking at Ridley at #19 and perhaps Moore if he shows he has elite speed at the Combine.

I like Sutton more than most, but if you're going to take him in the first round then you're expecting him to start and contribute significantly. IMO, he's way too raw a route runner to step-in early.

Pretty much every WR drafted doesn't make an impact in year 1. It'sx pretty rare, and if we draft one early we shouldn't expect big numbers.

As much as I like Ridley I’d say None but if one of them drops to our 2nd, definitely swoop one of those guys up. Anthony Miller, D.J. Moore, or Washington In the 2nd.

I would go best DL/LB/S with the first pick.

I guess Ridley but the WR I want the most is Simmie Cobbs Jr in the 2nd. Alshon Jeffery clone. Maybe even the next Brandon Marshall.

I don't agree with that entirely. A more polished reciever like Ridley should be able to step into the offense and contribute Day 1 taking snaps over a guy like T-Will.

Conversly, a guy like Sutton, who is more talented than T-Will, likely can't take snaps away as at the very least T-Will knows the scheme and how to run his routes. The importance of which can't be understated with a young QB you need predictability and consistentcey from your wideouts.
