i like his game.Nobody has talked about David Bell, he could be a real good value pick.
and he does have the size they seem to lean into.

There is no doubt, he needs development, but he is a people mover in the run game out of the box.I get it you like him better, arguing who is better is seems pointless, if they were both there I would prefer Strange. We won't know until they both play some games in the NFL.
Weaknesses
- Oversetting needs to be monitored and corrected.
- Lackadaisical approach in his pass punch.
- His mirroring cracks during second half of the rush.
- Hugs and engulfs rather than working with inside hand placement.
- Struggles to get block centered and keep it there.
- Sloppy feet diminish contact balance.
- Falls off the block due to narrow drive steps.
- Needs improved technique for double teams and work-up blocks.
- Spends too much time on the ground.
1 - Treylon Burks (WR) - Probably BP at this point. Penning is the choice if he's here, but I doubt he will be.
2 - Sam Williams (EDGE) - Big, fast, very productive in the SEC and I think vastly underrated. Why he doesn't get more love I have no idea. (I want Travis Jones but not at 24 and I think he'll be gone by 56.)
3 - Zach Tom (C) - Played T and C at WFU but will play C in the pros. Maybe the most athletic IOL in the draft. Polished pass blocker, plug-and-play from day one.
4 - Jelani Woods (TE and my favorite player in the draft) - A 6-7, 260-lb. monster with long arms (still put up the best bench score at his position) and blocks like a truck full of bricks. He also runs a 4.61 forty, and with his height, length and speed is a nightmare to cover downfield but also presents a massive, nearly uncoverable target in the redzone or when you need seven yards on third down. I love watching this guy stomping through the secondary.
I'm grabbing Matt Araiza and York or Dicker in the 5th. Sue me.
Sign Wagner and a guard and lets play ball. We have Dak protected and have given him two huge targets to go with Lamb, Gallup and Washington, and added a big, athletic young stud to the pass rush.

All underrated, I think, probably not by NFL scouts, though. I think we're gonna be surprised who's there at #24. Burks is not my first choice but I think a big guy who goes and gets the ball would be good for Dak, but so would a route technician like Olave. I love Dean an he fits Quinn's small, quick LB role but can he take the wear and tear of the NFL? He and Parsons tearing around the field together is mighty tempting...I really like 2, 3, and 4 on your list.

Thanks. I got to watch him play in person this past year. He looks like a man among boys out there, flying around, snatching balls none else can touch and curb-stomping LB's and DB's on the way to the Zone. Check this out...Big fan of this kid, as well. Good call.
Nobody talks about Sam Williams, heard the team did visit with him.I really like 2, 3, and 4 on your list.

The more I think about it, taking an Edge makes a lot of sense this yr.You’re right. He’s a ‘sneaky’, under-the-radar, pass rusher who would be a nice get in round two if we went another direction in the first.

However, still believe we are going to see an offensive heavy class

I believe Washington is a bridge player if they are unable to draft one or if a prospect isn't ready. This front office, always loads up at the position and I am expecting them to take 1 within the 1st 3 rounds.Maybe an influx of offensive linemen at various points. But they have their top three receivers for this coming year, and still have their top two under contract for multiple years. I think drafting another one early would be a mistake and misuse of resources.
They also seem adamant about keeping Schultz when they could have pivoted and removed the tag so that rules out TE early as well. It’s not going to be QB or RB early either.
So the only spot I can potentially see in the first two rounds is the offensive line. Otherwise, it’s pass rusher, safety, or linebacker in my mind.

They have interviewed all the top TE prospects, we know they are also looking at OL. The only defensive position that I have seen the Cowboys linked to has been at Linebacker.
That makes me happy.Sam Williams, heard the team did visit with him.
I agree about Wide Receiver, but based on their history, it is a must to have.I think taking a receiver anywhere before round three is dumb.
It doesn’t surprise me to hear that.
