What's really annoying was all the negative fans on this site piling on before a tossup game inwhich we had a good chance of winning which would make us 3 and 2.. Guess what, we can run the ball. We won a tough game on the road with our 3rd string defensive ends, a 3rd string corner, and without our starting left tackle.

With the game on the line we went to Rico, Luepke, and Tolbert and we beat them. The Cowboys are 3 and 2. The 49ers are 2 and 3.
With all due respect. THIS is what makes people like you get fooled.

Don’t get me wrong, I enjoyed that win, but it hasn’t changed my mind about anything really.

I still think this is a below average-average team, but I thought this was the first time all year they played sound football on both sides of the ball.

They just don’t have enough good players, especially after all of the injuries they’ve sustained.

They are 3 and 2. Below average teams don't have winning records.

Rambo, only 5 games have been played. We have beaten the Giants, Browns, and Steelers, three teams likely to be picking top 10 in the draft, and got boat raced by the Saints and Ravens.

The body of evidence isn’t screaming that this is a great team. I think they will struggle against any playoff contenders, but will probably be ok enough to stay in the fight.

I think the next 5 will be very telling.

I'll tell ya what can happen next for the Cowboys:

1) Secure a playoff spot
2) Win the NFC East
3) Secure the NFC top seed
4) Roll through the playoffs and win the NFC championship for our 10th Super Bowl appearance
5) Dominate the Super Bown and win our 6th Lombardi Trophy

Sounds like a plan to me!!!

If we can beat Detroit next week, who knows what can happen next? With as many players down as we were, Dak turning the ball over like he's Josh Allen, and playing at Pittsburgh following a lengthy delay, what a comeback win!!! Dak really clutched up at the end. Way to hang in there and win this. Hopefully, this is a turning point for the season that can send us to who knows where?

If we can somehow can beat Detroit, we have a shot of grabbing a season that looked with the undertaker may have been grabbed like Undertaker in his prime.

As annoyed as I am at Jerry for this offseason, I'm starting to get more excited for the season. We're 3-2, and played a hard game against a quality opponent. We are very much alive! We DID IT!!!!!! Yes!!!!!!!

Stuff it SAS (a squeelers fan)! Go Cowboys! I hope Irvin or Jerry calls into his show to let him know lol.

No, we pretty much know what happens next. No matter what happens in the regular season, IF this team makes the playoffs, the Cowboys will look embarrassingly unprepared for the 1st playoff game, like they didn't even practice...and like McCarthy looked at no film of the other team. So, they'll come out flat in the first quarter with bad execution and penalties, they will fall behind, they'll all look bewildered on the sideline as if they didn't see this coming, followed by an early playoff exit.

I don't see any way this team goes on a playoff run.

BUT, the NFC right now is not super strong (hec, when Darnold is leading the best team in the NFC, there's hope  ), so maybe this is the year the Cowboys shock the world and win a playoff game.

Well, and that's why I'm saying. I know it doesn't look like much, but this is certainly a result the team can build on.

The steelers will not be picking un the top 10. Lmao wth is this overreaction. The giants might actually go on a run they have an easy schedule and just punked Seattle in their house.

Well, exactly, we took on a quality opponent and won in a way we don't traditionally do, dating back to the Garrett era. This 11 years to the day after our "morale victory" against the Broncos in 2013, and we won against adversity this team doesn't normally survive.

The Cowboys were playing crappy football and were 3-2 with two blowout losses last year through 5 weeks last year...They beat the Chargers in a game very similar to last night in week 6 and found their offense in week 7.

Tougher schedule this year, but they found their offense a week earlier and should be healthy week 8. If they're .500 after the next 5, they should be in good shape for the division.
