I did not think we were great tonight, but a few players really excited me. I think that this defense will be quite a bit better with Ferguson and Spears in action.

Out of the following stars of the game, which one excited you the most?

Ware. Reminded me of Haley when he was a rookie. Could terrorize the league for years.

Who else but Ware could be at the top of that list?

Others would be:

Burnett
Crayton
Tyson Thompson (didnt play on offense but heck, I'm still excited from last week)

Excited would be to strong a word but others of note:

Bierault, ofcourse
Crowder, invovled on all special teams play
Pettiti, needs to learn alot but was much improved from last week
Thornton, looked OK in coverage which is alot for a guy who was been invisible

I have to vote for Demarcus Ware, but I've got to say that all four of these young guys got me very excited about the Cowboy's future tonight. I just don't know if that future includes a decent quarterback. :(

I voted for Justin Beriault ........ the kid is a player.

Ware.......great game, but we havent seen all of his game yet.

I'm going with Patrick Crayton. He catches everything that comes his way, and he plays with a fire that I love to see.

Though if I seem him catch the ball and run around with it completely exposed in one hand again i'm gonna go ballistic!

I went with Ware too. It's been a long time since Dallas had a dominate passrusher that also just was around the ball almost every play. Great game. I know pre-season. But I've not seen it at Dallas (even in pre-season) in a long time.

Crayton - only because as much as Ware did, I still don't think he has cut loose yet. I am coming to expect great things out of Julius, but I am not excited about a good RB tearing up a poor run defense. And I am not nearly as impressed with Beriault as people here. He is good - but I definitely see why Parcells is reluctant to move him to FS. He is more of a LBer type than even Roy, but skinnier.

I agree, but to tell you the truth, I don't think Crayton has cut loose yet either. This guy seems to have a lot of potential at WR. He's already playing "Good" and he's still just learning the position. But he's got good size, great hands, and can break tackles. All he has to work on now is route running, reading defenses, and consistency.

And those last three should come with experience and hard work.

Exciting, ain't it? ;)

Definitely Ware...but Beriault and Crayton were a pleasure to see tonight....and so was Kalen Thornton. I feel a little better about the team, not completely relieved but a lot better than last week. :D

And to think some were worried about WR, myself, and others were saying WR is going to be the least of our worries.

All I can say is GOOO CRAYTON!!! And I was impressed with Ware this was teh first time I saw him play. I hope you guys are right about Ware and Crayton not cutting it loose yet.

Has to be Ware, but Crayton was really natural out there. The Seattle WR coach was probably yelling to his guys LIKE HIM! MORE LIKE HIM!

Crayton is all Parcells wants in a WR in my eyes. Run good routes, be where your QB expects you to be, fight for the ball, block for your RB, and catch nearly everything thrown your way. You don't need to be Randy Moss or Terrell Owens. You just need to move the chains.

The way Ware played it impossible for me not to get excited about his potential so he was the clear choice for me. Crayton showed us on last night why Morgan is now 4th on the depth chart and why teams will have to repect him when he's on the field. I really would like to see Morgan make this 3rd WR battle a little more interesting, but I've got a feeling that it's been decided.

Ware of course...ANIMAL PLAY OUT OF HIM LAST NIGHT>
AND of course Bierault. He wore the proper number last night. He is a KEEPER.
All i can say...ITS ABOUT TIME TO SEE THE D PLAY LIKE THIS!!!

I was one of those people concerned about WR - and I still am. However, the development of Crayton does ease my concern somewhat. Still, as I said before, we do not have a Top 20 WR, which would be very nice.
