WR Noah Brown Most of the names today are from the defense, but Brown is the one offensive player who almost everyone projects to make the roster who should really ignore what is being written about him in that respect.

DE Dorance Armstrong This is one name that probably doesn’t surprise many, because he is frequently mentioned as the odd man out when final releases are made. His issue is that he has been serviceable for the most part, and that is what you call damning with faint praise.

DT Trysten Hill 2020 looked like it was going to be a breakout year for Hill, who was maligned for his poor rookie performance the season before, but injury intervened. Now he is still coming back and may be a PUP candidate, although the team has not revealed any of the thinking on that. Hill needs to hit the ground running in Oxnard, because the Cowboys brought in a bus full of new DT talent.

CB Anthony Brown This is one name that I debated having on the list. He is more solid than any of the prior players listed, but not enough that he can afford to become complacent. He is more valuable at his job than Armstrong, but not enough so that the staff would likely pass on what they saw as real upgrade.

Noah Brown & Dorance Armstrong ought to be nervous. I'm not so sure that Trysten & Anthony are quite in the same boat, but stranger things have happened.

I think Anthony Brown is pretty safe. It would take several of the younger players looking ready to contribute now for Brown to be knocked off the roster.

From last year's roster, I think Hunter Niswander should be looking hard over his shoulder because Bryan Anger seems to have a leg up on the punting job before the competition even begins.

Terence Steele was forced to start last year, but he could be forced off the 53 since we picked up Nysekhe and drafted Ball.

Darian Thompson may be the odd man out at safety since we signed Kazee and Kearse and drafted Mukuamu. Especially if Tyler Coyle also proves worth keeping.

Rico Dowdle may get pushed out by Hardy or Knox for the third RB spot, or we may just decide to keep two on the 53.

Luke Gifford and Francis Bernard may be facing an uphill climb at linebacker with Parsons, Smith, LVE, Cox and Neal pretty much assured of spots.

Justin Hamilton joins Hill as question marks at DT. I think Hamilton for sure is cut while Hill will need to show strong progress.

Armstrong should be out at DE likely depending on the play of Golston and Anae.

Reggie Robinson will be interesting to watch. Does he play well enough to force us to keep him? I've got six other corners as probable to make the roster: Diggs, Joseph, Wright, Brown, Lewis and Goodwin. Then, there's also Canady, who opted out last year. We picked him up because he had been a decent nickel player and good special teammer

Every player on defense from last year.

What a disaster that was , smh

every team that plays the cowboys

That would imply every team that plays Dallas is the favorite and needs to look over their shoulder to see Dallas in the rearview. I don’t believe that was the intention of your post
