Our defense was comparable to the ravens or the steelers? Laughable. The ravens with the GAME ON THE LINE yesterday stopped the chargers on 4th and 2 by none other than Ray Lewis. The steelers are without their best defensice player, but still mananged to play well enough to win.

Rex Ryan in 2 weeks has totally changed the mentality of the jets defense. They attack. They were on Tom Brady from the moment he stepped off the bus.

This defense is filled with a bunch of overpaid, highly rated, underperforming clowns who have no character. That performance was a joke last night. I will NEVER trust this defense.

The Steelers' defense completely folded in the fourth quarter against an offense that couldn't do anything right last week. I'm not sure why anyone would be talking them up right now.

And the Ravens' defense gave up 474 yards and 26 points.

They let the opponent drive right down the field and into field-goal range, just like we did.

Had the Ravens' offense thrown a pick-six and turned the ball over two other times inside their own 30, the Ravens' defense wouldn't have even HAD a lead to try to protect at the end because they let the Chargers drive for so many points on their own. And had they led by only one point before that drive because of their offense's turnovers, they would have lost, too.

The steelers are the champs, they're going to get the benefit of the doubt.

There is a reason Maro Manningham dropped in the draft. His 4.59 Combine 40 time killed him.

Don't forget about the great Tennessee defense who gave up over 30 points yesterday. And the great Giants defense that gave up 31 points and over 200 yards rushing. I don't want to hear about injuries, we had our share last year and no one gave us the benefit of the doubt.

The NFL is what it is, every week a new top team. There are no more dynasties or no sure wins.

Hamlin was awful last night. There really was no excuse for Wade calling the perfect blitz only to have Hamlin go four yards left to the runner and have him run by him for well over a first down. Newman played bad, but he gets the benefit of the doubt because it's not something that is consistent with him like Hamlin.
