Who remembers Tony Pollard?

[CoachD]

Then he broke his ankle and isn't nearly as explosive.

[phildadon86]

You are probably right but he’s probably one of the better backs to come through here in recent memory. Aside from Zeke….you might have to go back to Barber….

I still remember when they put Barber in one game and they were at their own 1 (i may remember this wrong i was still drinking) and he wouldnt be tackled and went for a first down. Was in our endzone at one point lol.

Man they wasted Barber for Julius Jones for too long.

[KDM256]

He's my rb4 and honestly hes not playing bad, Cam Ward is just god awful. TP averaging around 4.5

Agreed. TP is still a solid back in the NFL but no one respects Ward as a passer. He's a Tennessee Trey Lance

[DallasEast]

Love the thread title. It's like Pollard played during the 60's, lol.

[eromeopolk]

Wow, miss that player...

You mean the RB we needed now that could have matched wonderfully with Williams? The RB you could have returned on a discount after ankle injury?

Yes, he was a Jonesboy and has done so well with the Titans, you want him back.

Jerry Dumbo GM Jones.

It took him a year to recover from injury and everyone kind of wrote him off, but hes actually a pretty solid back. Now hes just on a trash team and getting older.

At some point they have to bench Ward, right? He's terrible. The rest of that squad isn't really bad, he's just killing them

[CowboyFanInLexKy]

I do. He's not that guy any more but is still in the league playing for the Titans.

Granted no, he wasn't all that but I loved watching his scrappiness. He gave all he got every time he was on the field for us.

[Havic]

Love to give him about 10-15 touches a game but not a full time starter

[CATCH17]

There was a whole year he was clearly better than Zeke but of course Dallas forced Zeke instead of trying to do what was best for the team.

[CowboyStar88]

We really need some speed in the backfield. Stupid Blue way to be an idiot.

[Captain43Crash]

He wasn't all that. He won't even be remembered in DAL history.

Did you see those runs!
He made guys miss and almost never got caught from behind!
