What team in the NFC do you fear if the playoffs started today and the Cowboys were playing? I don't see any team the Cowboys could not beat on any given Sunday. That does not mean they will but how long has it been since the team matched up with the best in the NFC talent wise?

The Cowboys scare me.

If we can get out of our own way, this team can go the distance.

Carolina because of Steve Smith

I agree. I think the Panthers are the most balanced team out there with a very good defense.

I don't agree with that, I have respect for Smith but I also have a lot of respect for the Cowboys secondary as well as the Cowboys pass rush. The Panthers balance is what concerns me because with them you have to be able deal with both their running and passing games and they do both very well.

Carolina is the only matchup that isn't favorable to the Cowboys. I don't think Smith would be a problem, but their power running game would cause some problems and I'm not sure how Dallas could hope to contain Peppers.

I think the oline will be ok as long as Carolina isn't allowed to jump the snap like they did in the playoff game a couple of yrs ago.

I agree with that. They have the most well-rounded offense in the NFC and that frightens me.

Wow!

I just don't buy that.

I think if Newman could handle Randy Moss, Burress and Owens then he could handle Smith.

Seattle

I still say seattle ends up with the best record in NFC and home field advantage throughout.

I think Atlanta and Carolina would both be tough match-ups in the playoffs, and we may end up playing one of those teams in the divisional round, but i think seattle will be hosting the NFC championship game.

Only team I don't want to play in the playoffs right now is the Panthers.

Carolinas averages 3.0 yds per carry and Delhomme has thrown a good # of picks this year. Steve Smith is the only thing on that team that scares me. As a team they do not.

Seattle has the most potent offense I believe and actually the Commanders have looked pretty decent Offensively and defensively. I think a bit better of a team than the Giants.

Dallas has as much going for them as any team in the NFC. Like someone said the cowboys scare me more than any team they play. Botched snaps and inconsistency and youth are what makes me nervous.

Even like tonight, the Eagles don't scare me, I am just afraid the Cowboys don't play up to their potential and lose another close one

Believe it or not, I still have tons of respect for Philadelphia. Maybe it's from the yearly beating Dallas has incurred over the last few seasons, but McNabb running around scares me....a lot.

Delhomme looked pretty shaky yesterday. The Cowboys have handled Stephen Davis. Steve Smith is a better Santana Moss. He'd be a problem if there was little pressure on Delhomme.

Seattle has done squat in my eyes as has Washington. Take a few bonehead plays from each of those games and we're sitting pretty at 7-1. If the Cowboys play the Seahawks again, the story will be very different...they will annihilate them. I hope, if Dallas makes the playoffs, that they face those guys again.

Chicago hasn't played anyone byt they're #1 in that division with a strong defense and running game.

The team that just lost at home to one of the worst road teams in NFL history?! Hmm... what about them scares you? 32nd ranked SF and their 4th string rookie QB hung with them 10-6 in the 4th quarter, Denver should have crushed them, San Diego did crush them, AND we already beat them (even though we had 4 stupid turnovers in the 1st half). They are not that good... the media made them out to be WAY better than they are.
