All of this nonsense reminds me of when Hambrick was the savior of the backfield.
Wanting Choice to get more carries is nonsense?

No the people who are saying Barber is a bum and saying Choice is the next OJ because he had a good game in December last year. I think getting him more carries is fine but let's keep our senses about it.

Its real simple. The answer is this for the first 2 quaters carries should be Choice 50%, Felix 30%, Barber 20%. For the 3rd quater: Choice 20% Fleix 20% Barber 60% and for quarter number 4: Choice 10% Felix 0% Barber 90%. Gurantee you that would work.

When it involves jumping over the #2 on the depth chart, yes.
I think both Felix and Choice need more carries, and the Barbarian needs to go back to the closer role.

LOL, so through three quarters, Felix is getting 20% of the carries despite being ahead of Choice?

Why are you so positive this would work? Do you also take into account run blocking, play calling, and tendencies of the particular defense?

:star: Who do you think should be starting RB? IMO Choice is the man, and should be givin more play time to prove himself over Bum, I mean Barber.

Third post?

You never write, you never call . . .

I am undecided on them three.
You see, the O line has been on a rapid decline and with that going on, how kin we make any judgments on Barber or Felix?
Having said that, I will also posit to you that, Jerra spent a good deal of money and a high draft pick on Felix to just let them sit. Jerra, whose geart us always bigger than his brain, wants to get the most mileage out of Barber and Felix.
Me? I'd showcase the heck out of Felix the rest of the year to get some sort of trade value in return, say to Seattle, for O-line help or secondary help.

But, again, the failure of the O line and jerra's investments in barber and felix make it difficult to say start Choice.

I think Barber is just too slow taking off. That's why I think in the first couple quarters Choice should get a bigger load, use Barber later. Barber needs to also learn to run inside, like Felix and Choice do, a lot better.

The offensive line needs to get it's act together and I believe it starts with the RG and LG, they need to do a better job.

The o-line is doing a poor job of run blocking. But Barber is too slow to hit the hole. He needs to go back to the closer role. Notice how much better he looked in that role in the past, and also he did well at the beginning of the year, because his body didn't start to wear down yet.

When Barber is fresh, that is when he becomes the Barbarian. And with our stable of backs we should be able to easily keep him fresh, but a certain someone just wants to run him into the ground while Felix and Choice just sit on the bench. Felix seems like he might be injury prone, so I get limiting his carries, but there is no excuse for not running Choice more.

So yes, Choice should start.

What hole? Barber is not to slow to hit the hole, even if he is a bit gimpy. And i dont care what role he is at, or how tough a rb is. Hes not goin to be able to break tackles of 300+ lb guys. It happens once in a while. Its the olines job to make a crease and then the rb deals with the lb (if they arent blocked) and then the next lvl etc.

To add to this, is felix to slow to hit these "imaginary" holes? Because he wasnt hitting them either.
