Who should return punts?

Now that Crayton is back, who should we have in there as our primary punt returner? We didn't see Newman in there at all until P.C. got hurt. Do you keep him in there? Or do we hand all the duties back to Crayton?

IMO, Newman will break a few if given enough oppourtunites, while it is risky for him to be back there, is that risk greater than the reward that will come from him running a few back to the endzone? Something we haven't had since Deion....Thoughts?

I like having both Crayton and Newman...Newman when game is on the line and we need a spark...but most of the time Crayton. I do not want to have to much risk with Newman out there all the time.

Crayton most of the time, Newman when they are punting from their own 15 and less.

Price scares me to death back there - he looks so uncomfortable. Heck, Crayton scares me too...

But having Newman back there with Henry out due to injury is asking for trouble. I guess I'll just trust in Bill to make the decision between Crayton and Price.

I would continue to put Price in there for now with a few select situations going to Newman. I would save Crayton for the passing Offense until he has had a chance to play himself back into shape. Crayton should be ready to take back over by the time we hit the playoffs.

Go with your best players at this point in the season. (crunch time)

Let Crayton return punts unless they are punting from inside their 20 or we are in need of a good return to get back in the game.

Basically what Portland and The Hustler said.

NEWMAN...the guy was a stud returner with K State and has shown me he is a TON better than PP in limited action this year. I can recall two really nice returns nullified by penalty.

Doesn't matter who returns punts. If it's anything more than a 10 yard return, look for the yellow hanky and "Illegal block in the back, receiving team"

Crayton should do it, although Newman is the best we have at it we CANNOT afford to get Newman hurt.....period.

After watching the offense without Crayton, I guess the same could be said about him.

I agree, but imagine our D with TNew back there. (shudders at the thought)
