Who should we want in the playoffs? Commanders, Vikings or Saints?

It's a legitimate question, and if we don't want Washington in, we must simply beat them. That would then open the door for the Vikings to make it in instead, provided they win their next game. But beating Washington coupled with a Vikings loss and Saints win, brnigs the Saints into the playoffs.

Personally, I don't want the Commanders in because I think they have the best running game of these three teams, and with the Giants already in, I'd like to see as few NFC-East foes in the playoffs as possible.

I would rather have the Vikings make it in because, while they are good at the RB position, they're fairly inexperienced at the RB and QB positions, and Dallas has already shut them down - largely because of their inexperience - and I would expect the same outcome should Dallas have to play the Vikings again.

The team I'm torn on are the Saints. Yes they pretty much took us to town about a year ago so that's what makes me nervous. On the other hand, that had everything to do with Sean Payton knowing what Parcells would do, so I could se our newer, legitimate, coaching staff taking the Saints to town this time around. So I'm not too sure what ot make of this potential opponent and how we match up against them this season.

In the end, if you look at the experience and talent these 3 potential playoff opponents have at the QB and RB positions combined, I would rank them in this order: 1=Saints, 2=Commanders, 3=Vikings; so in the end, I would like to see the Vikings take the last NFC seed because they pose the weakest matchup threat against Dallas. So I'm hoping the Cowboys beat the Commanders to give the Vikings the best chance - who have a much better than the Saints - to make it in. And spoiling the Commanders' playoff chances would also be a sweet outcome! :)

What do you think?

I don't think it matters, because we're better than all of them.

But just from a personal standpoint, I'd love to get the Saints. Payback for that beating they gave us last year would be so sweet.

Personally, I think all of those teams get beat by the Seahawks in the WCG.

Of all 3 of those teams, I would prefer to face them in this order:
Vikings
Saints
Commanders

seattle isnt bad at home, but they have looked horrendous at times on the road.

They are a veteran team with lots of playoff experience, I dont know that seattle loses in that first game.

Vikings or Saints, it doesn't matter. I would love for this team to knock skins out of playoff this Sunday, not because I fear them or anything, just because I despise them.

Put me in the I don't care who we face. To make it to where we want to be we will have to play great football and if this team is playing great football there is not a team out there who can beat us.

Yeah, I'd love for the Cowboys to get another shot at the Saints, for the reason you mention.

At some point, I don't worry about who the Cowboys would be better off playing in the playoffs and Super Bowl. If the Cowboys are worthy of postseason success, then they shouldn't need this or that favorable matchup.

Yes that's true - we are better than the Commanders Saints and Vikings. However, you know how it goes when NFC-East teams play each other. You can throw records and matchups out the Window. Just recently we lost to the Eagles, who we are also better than. And regardless of why we lost, the fact is we lost. That's why I think Beating Washington this weekend is important to ensure we don't have to face them in the playoffs under any scenario. And it's not because I'm scared of them; it's because we already have the Giants in these playofds, and I'd prefer that another NFC-East team not make it in.

any of them, Saints look horrible pretty much all the time, Vikings have nothing but the run and the Skins are....well they're the Skins, don't see any reason to worry about any of them.

Saints-their pass D SUCKS WIND. Even Philly's less-than-mediocre passing game torched them.

None of those teams are any kind of a threat if we play well.
WE are better then any of them overall and in detail. We have all the edges.

I dont really care which team(s) we play. They are the undeserving ones.

We can beat Washington. They are a weak and bad team.
We can beat the Giants. Again.
We can beat the Vikings. They are nothing without AP. Their QB is Quincy version 3.
We could play Seattle or New Orleans - both payback games.

At the end of the day.... it would be sweet to take out the Seahawks at home in a beatdown fashion.

Yes, very true, none of these teams are a threat if we play well. What if we don't? What if we face one of them and have an off day? Who do we have the best chance of beating and advancing in that scenario? I brought up the Eagles earlier because they beat us on our bad day. For me, I still say it's the Vikings, because on a bad day I still can't see any chance we lose to htem; but I am more worried of losing against the Skins and Saints shgould we come out flat.

Romo could hit water jumping out of a boat that day. I think we lost the game more than the Eagles beat us. I cant see Romo having another one of those days... not until next season ;)

VIkes. If the Commanders can do that to them... Besides, I don't like seeing the Red Skins three times a year. I know they like seeing us a lot, but that rivalry doesn't mean as much to me.
