Id have to agree, I really hope Carter turns into a solid player cause IMO it was a big mistake not going o-line in the second round of that draft.

When you substitute a linebacker in your nickel with a defensive back it's simply called a dime package. It doesn't turn a safety into a linebacker.

He's typically replaced by a CB. You don't have 3 safeties on the field in dime situations.

A dime merely refers to six defensive backs. The 6th defensive back can either be a safety or a corner.

I think at start of year C & C play like James and Brookings did last year. kind of even snaps but I think the Cowboys want Carter to take control of the position.

I think they see Carter and Lee simular to the 49ers MLBs

Carter has been practicing at OTA's and Conner has been hurt recovering from surgery.
