It seems LVE has taken over the whipping boy mantle.
He's likely not going to be here next season so Cowboys fans are priming his slide out of Dallas.

The dictionary defines - "Whipping Boy" as: a person who is blamed or punished for the faults or incompetence of others.

So based on that definition, I would have to say none of them. None of them are being blamed or punished for the faults or incompetence of others. They are being blamed for their own faults.

Jaylon was just in a different category....high paid, poor production, and still talked trash acting like he was an elite player.

LVE takes his spot in my book, but at least LVE is likable. Jaylon got hard to root for at times to be honest.

I think that all three names on that list are gone next year. And if so, I doubt fans will be criticizing the team for having “whipping boys” but instead praising them for cutting dead weight. That’s how it works for some people.
