Who thought we would clinch playoff berth with 4 games left when Prescott went down?

It's likely fair to say that the majority of fans here were skeptical that we'd qualify for the playoffs.
Include yours truly as one of them. We, most definitely, have no shortage of fans & critics.

I did, Rush and the defense get the credit, alot of people here hoped we'd go 0-5 with Rush to prove a narrative about a certain player, which blew up in their faces when he went 4-1 and they hated it and still do...lol their definitely not ' Cowboy " fans..lol... you know who you are.
Def rallied around and coaches had,a good sensible conservative game plan for Rush to execute and he did well.

if Def had played like the last 2-3 games , we would have no chance

I think we clinched a playoff spot last weekend which was with 3 games left not 4. We will go as far as Dak takes us. Simple as that.

I did vote for 10 wins and thought that was good enough to make the playoffs. That was from 12 wins I predicted pre-injury.
I thought that mainly because I figured NFCE was going to suck really bad. I guess I wasn't completely right.

Who would have thought that, at 11-4, the Cowboys wouldn't have already clinched the division?

Who would have thought that, with two games left to play in the season, there are no NFC East teams with a losing record?

This is not your typical Cowboys season, for sure

Who thought we would clinch playoff berth with 4 games left when Prescott went down ,be honest ,who gets the credit Jones , McCarthy , Rush ?

Dan Quinn and an early schedule packed with teams with OL issues,,, the timing was perfect.

I like some others thought season was over after Game 1. Rush and defense gets a lot of credit. Rush's limitations showed in that first Eagles game so its clear Dak is QB1.

Wish defense was as good as beginning of season. I know injuries are a major concern.

Yep
Rush would be loving these short routes with the RAC that Pollard and Lamb are dishing out. Rush would take us to the championship game.
Hopefully Dak can do the same.

I must say that I'm pleasantly surprised that we are in the position that the Cowboys have found themselves.

As for who gets the credit, I think the entire team gets the credit. The FO got players with high character. Mike McCarthy has done a fantastic job given the circumstances. If we had Jason Garrett still, there is no doubt in my mind that we'd be discussing draft picks instead of playoffs. Rush and Dak did excellent jobs. The defence was fantastic when Dak was out to keep us in those games. All in all, the team in it's entirety was fabulous.

Are we sure the Cowboys made the playoffs? When we lost to Jacksonville this board and the mediots acted like our season was over and Dak/defense suck.

I said the Cowboys would go 12-5 at best or 11-6 at worst. My mind didn't change when Dak went down Week 1 because I knew Cooper Rush was good enough to manage the Offense, plus would be helped by our Defense and Special Teams. To see how our current Cowboys have a 11-4 record and have a very good chance to finish 13-4 is very pleasantly surprising. What I didn't expect was the Eagles having a better record and leading all teams at this point with 2 games to go, but I hope that changes for them especially if Jalen Hurts still doesn't play due to injury.

I had us in 11-6 to 12-5 range and I didn’t think that would change with rush

I was surprised that we beat cincy with him but I wasn’t overly concerned about the commanders and giants

it was a bonus that the offensive lines we played were so compromised and the rush to Noah brown connection worked well

I think had the cowboys lost more games they would have pushed Prescott back sooner glad things worked out the way they did as Dak got to work off some rust against the lions and bears

I didn’t expect a loss to the jags but knew it would be tough game. I also didn’t anticipate blasting the vikes
