Who to blame?

As a longtime coach, I hate to see coaches lose their jobs. That being said, I never blamed a player. I always told my coaches, it's easier to find a good coach than a good player. There are exceptions, but I don't see any on this team. Players are running the plays and schemes that are called. The schemes and game management have been in question for some time. The injuries and youth have exposed our defense to a scheme poor system. Game management continues to be an issue with Garrett. His play calling duties we're taken away to allow him to focus on game management, he has not improved.
All that said, In my opinion, Rod needs to go, is there someone better out there, probably not. Give Eberflus a shot for the rest of the season. This will put Garrett and Linehan on edge a bit knowing they are next if things don't improve.

Biggest issue with Rod is his stubbornness. Doesn't matter how clear it is that the zone doesn't work he just keeps rolling with it.

The SNF pregame show broke down the Aaron Rodgers scramble. Looked like Durant and Hitchens were at LB, and one was clearly meant to shadow Rodgers. Instead, they both followed Aaron Jones to the opposite side of the field.

And we wonder why we lose? How does that happen, in that situation?

We're that way because of front loading contracts for years. Acts like he's the smartest guy in the NFL, but it's killing us.

Marinelli needs more talent to play the kind of defense he wants to. Plain vanilla needs an excellent corner, safety, dt, wlb, and DE to succeed. We have the wlb(except today), some DE pieces, but lack everywhere else.

I don't want to see another 3 man front as long as I live...It's loser football....and Marinellie just can't help but run that POS D...and have his CBs play 10 yards off.
