Who To Draft?

Can anyone tell me about the two Texas DEs and their possible ability to play OLB?

anyone want levi brown OT? i know hes projected higher, but so are half these names people are throwing out and I havent heard any talk about brown who i'd much rather have than blalock. we need a OT not a guard.

I think things are a lot of options for the Cowboys 1st pick this year. In past years we had a good feel for what Dallas needed and was looking for in the 1st rd this year I think it is anyones guess.

Here's my best guess at the moment.

Most likely:
OLB (Moss or Spencer)
WR (Bowe, Rice, Meachem, Jarrett, or Ginn).

Somehwhat Likely:
CB (Revis, Hall, Houston).
OL (Blaylock)
FS (Nelson)

I agree.

if we resign colombo i have a feeling it will be a cb. glenn is getting up there and henry is no spring chicken himself not to mention cb's are very expensive on the market.i think houston will be on jerry's radar

If we sign Colombo, how aboput Ginn/Bowe/ Jarrett in the 1st and Someone like Tanard Jackson a CB/S from Syracuse in the 2nd. He's being compared to Aneas Williams.

i think houston is now projected as high as top 10 after the combine. hes pretty much on everyones radar.

It all what depends what Wade thinks we need and how Watkins does in during offseason to prove he needs the starting job.

my reading of the tea leaves indicates that we will go

CB in 1 (unless levi brown somhow falls to us)
OL in 2 (someone who can play C/OG and back-up Gurode)
LB in 3 (there will be some 'tweeners' here)
WR in round 4

i would be OK with this scenario

i do want us to address the back-up NT position somehow with someone in the draft that can spell ferguson and be a significant contributor, perhaps soliai? (with a trade-up to get another 4th round pick)

this is despite the fact that i agree with theo that we will re-sign colombo
i know people are enamored with WR early but i just dont see it in the first 2 rounds with what we already have.

just my .02

He's definitely a top 10 pick after the first 20 picks are made.

good plan, although replace Jarrett w/ Meachem, and if we were able to draft UNLV's Eric Wright in the 2nd, even better

I think Robison would make a better OLB than Crowder, and I think he will be a draft day steal. Very quick, amazing leaper for a guy that size. The definition of a "high motor guy". I think he's projected to go in the 3rd round.

he's projected to go in the 3rd, but I wouldn't be shocked to see him taken in the 2nd

this year I think the cream of the crop for DE, WR and CB will get snatched up pretty early, I predict 9 receivers going within the top 56 picks

We could also use another CB if Henry is moved to FS.

Why do people think Henry is a better player than Watkins?

Amazing.

Please watch the last 4-5 games of the season.
