Eagles (8-3), Cowboys (8-3): Obviously we want to win. Winner owns the NFC East. They currently own the tie breaker so letting them win the head to head would put us at an even bigger disadvantage.
Bears (5-6), Lions (7-4): Go Bears. Detroit is one team battling for a wild card. The tie breaker would come down to the better conference record. We're both 5-3 in conference. I'd rather not finished tied with these guys.
Seahawks (7-4), 49ers (7-4): This one is easy. We want Seattle to finish second in the NFC West since we own the tie breaker with them. We don't want to finished tied with San Fran. Go Seahawks.
Titans (2-9), Texans (5-6): I don't think this game matters at all. We've played both so there are some strength of schedule incentives for us. But a win for one would be a loss for the other, so the outcome makes no difference.
Raiders (1-10), Rams (4-7): Go Rams for the sake of strength of schedule incentives. The better record the teams we've played, the stronger the schedule for us.
Chargers (7-4), Ravens (7-4): This game has no impact on us at all.
Browns (7-4), Bills (6-5): Another meaningless game for us.
Bengals (7-3-1), Bucs (2-9): I can't think of any way the outcome of this one would affect us.
Commanders (3-8), Colts (7-4): It actually could help us more if the Colts win if we beat the Colts later this season. Strength of victory (the combined win percentage of teams you've beaten) is more important than strength of schedule (the combined win percentage of teams you've played). We've already lost to Washington, but we play them again so we can redeem ourselves.
Giants (3-8), Jags (1-10): I think a Giants win could benefit us more. I just mentioned strength of victory. Since we've beaten NY twice, I think their record would be counted twice in our strength of victory. That's 4 wins (if they beat Jax) multiplied by 2 (which is 8), which is a lot better than the measly 2 wins the Jags would give us with a win.
Panthers (3-7-1), Vikings (4-7): I don't think this game would have any impact on us.
Saints (4-7), Steelers (7-4): For strength of victory purposes, go Saints.
Cardinals (9-2), Falcons (4-7): This one is tricky. More wins for the Cards give us a better strength of schedule. Also, we want Seattle to finish #2 in the NFC West since we own the tie breaker. I also think Arizona would be an easy playoff win if we had to face them. But we also are battling Arizona for the #1 seed. This game is tricky. For #1 seed purposes, I think I'd say let's go Atlanta. But it's close.
Patriots (9-2), Packers (8-3): For 1st round bye and #1 seed purposes, I'm rooting for the Patriots. Green Bay and Arizona (and of course Philly) are our biggest competition for getting a bye and home field advantage (which I question if that's a good thing).
Broncos (8-3), Chiefs (7-4): For Murray or Romo for MVP purposes, go KC.
Dolphins (6-5), Jets (2-9): For I enjoy watching the Jets drown in their own misery purposes, go Miami.
